Since it's been a week and Anupamaa is not shown interacting with the Shah family, the makers must be looking for a new situation to make it unavoidable so I have an idea for them

Mohit is Ankush's son because everything has to be connected to the Shah family in Anupamaverse.

Future events: Mohit will come to live at KM and Kavya will move in with him, pregnant with Ravanraj's child and the whole Shah family will also move in to take care of their poti "Vani" or pota "Vanu". In the next episode Anupamaa will miss CA's singing competition to change Vanis diaper and Anuj will get mad. Then we will be tortured the next 3 weeks with cringe dance sequences and dialogues
