Off topic: Liking a text message

How do you take it if some one likes your text message but doesn't respond.

When you say "Take care" and the person is liking it, it makes sense.

When you say " I will come your place at 6pm. " and the person is liking it , but does not reply then how will you interpret it?

I take it that they aren’t too much into texting constantly

It's acknowledged that you are coming at 6. What do you want them to say? 😆

Liking a text msg = sounds good, ok, great, cool, I agree

I didn't realize there was any other way to interpret this. Now I'm wondering if anyone I thumbs up-ed ever got confused from my action 🤨

When I googled it, it has been interpreted both a negative and a positive way.

As a soft ghosting, just a reaction, not a response.

Another way, they agree to you/ acknowledged.

Porcupine, I wouldn't look that deep into this. Unless they didn't reply to your previous message(s)?? Otherwise it's all good. But I am assuming they did since you announced you're going over. They're just basically saying "ok got it" without typing it out.
