He might not have the desire to procreate in the past but in present( if P had demanded in past ) by agreeing to have sex with P he is giving her the rights to be his childβs mom unless they show him actively using birth control . If P was a one night stand I would understand itβs just sex but having physical relationship with a wife means he is ready for a family with P .
thatβs what having s$$ is one thing β¦ but having a desire to have kids with someone is different.. Virat raised Vinayak with patralekha.. but he never showed the desire to procreate .. that maybe because after Vinayak died .. his desire got squashed .. and he was just happy with his adopted son .. he certainly looked happy .. and then Savi came along his desire was fulfilled .. he really did not want to go through this baby birth trauma again .. as his previous experience were stressful and disrupted his life badly
