What I understand is that Advait probably did some other crime. Shamsher asked Jasmine's help to save Advait. Jasmine got Advait married to a person who has Canadian PR and saved him.

I was waiting for Nehavit love journey, here the makers are planning something else.

But if jasmine knows he is already married why would she desperately want her own daughter married to him? I think he isnt legally still married to someone else.
