Maan now finally gets a chance to tell Geet

as he does finance, he discovered the company has been involved

in illegal business

and now it seems they are after Maan

Maan also realizes everyone knows Geet is married

while probably kept his personal life to himself back in Dubai

okay so this is why maan is here

he promises to leave as soon as this gets over

geet felt bad it abvious

but what maan dont know is he wont be able to leave this time😉

Well as it is said assumptions are bad & it can lead to problems between Maan & Geet ... She us already irritated with his mystery & now things are beyond her patience

geet is hurt knowing no one from maan's side knows about her n their marriage

maan is only concern about his safety n not geet's emotions

Geet is genuinely concerned and I hate Maan for saying he’ll leave again 🤬

What does he take Geet for?

Part 19

M- Fine. I was working in Dubai. So, the firm I was working with was doing some illegal business and I being in the Finance department found it. I became the whistleblower. Now these people are after me. That’s why I am here

She frowns

She is shocked and concerned at the same time

G- Do these people know you are here?

M- Don’t worry, nobody knows about you. Nobody in Dubai knows I got married and got married to you. That’s why I came here

Acha, kisi ko bataaya bhi nahi mere baare mein…naa hamari shaadi ki baare mein….kisi ko bhi nahi, naa apne wahan ke friends ko….he is ashamed of me and this marriage

Geet concludes in her mind

M- I am trying to get out of this mess. I will be out of here in few days. I will never compromise your safety

Geet doesn’t respond and goes back to the kitchen

Maan looks at her walk away

He gets up after a while and walks into the kitchen

She is making tea

M- Kuch help chahiye?

G- Nahi, thik hai

She replies with her back towards him

He stands leaning on the door

He doesn’t realize he is gazing dreamily at her

He was seeing her after more than 2 years

They had just known each other for few days but everything about her had left a lasting impact on him

Did he fall for her in those days, he doesn’t know?

But he liked everything about her

Her courage, her strength to fight her family, her skills as a detective

He felt she could understand him the way nobody ever could

He never expected her to understand his motive to find his estranged siblings

But she did

He felt a certain amount of comfort with her, like she was family, like he was Home.

Home he had lost when he lost his parents

But when was luck on his side ever?

All his plans of being in contact with Geet were destroyed after he joined back office in Dubai

Last few years were spent in trying to save himself and escaping

Contacting Geet or sharing about Geet would have meant pushing Geet into danger

But he was thankful for a little luck he still had so he could see Geet again

Even if it’s for few days

But he wishes he could come back again when he is away from all this trouble

He hopes he is there to come back

Geet is feeling little uneasy with Maan’s constant gaze

She bites her lip, pushing away a wild strand of hair

She turns with her tray of tea

Maan comes back to reality as Geet looks at him

He follows her as she walks into the room with the tea

Geet takes her teacup and opens the window

The calm breeze flows in the room blowing her manes

She sits on the bed

Maan takes his cup and sits on the floor on foot of the bed with his back on the bed

Maan takes a sip

M-Thanks for the tea. It’s nice

G- Its okay

Ab Geet kuch kehti nahi toh Maan bhi aur kuch nahi bolta

Geet as per her daily chores, cooks dinner but this time for two

G- Dal chawal bana rahi hoon. Chalega?

M- kuch bhi chalega. Main help kar deta hoon

Maan helps her with chopping while Geet cooks

They have dinner together as they had the tea in silence

Geet normally watches any show on her phone or any video toh who chala deti hai

Maan, who was sitting on foot of the bed thinks ki kya kare uthke baithe Geet ke paas aur who bhi saath men dekhe yaa aise hi thi hai, he can just hear it

He decides he does not want to alarm Geet, wohi baitha rehta hai

Geet khane ke baad goes to take a shower

Maan decides to help her by washing the dishes

Maan ke bartan dhul gaye, Geet abhi bhi bathroom mein hai

1-hour hogaya tab nikli

Maan was idling

Her head is wrapped in a towel, haath mein bucket hai

She pulls a cloth wire rope to tie with another end

Maan goes and takes over as she was struggling due to her height

He is surprised

M- Tumne ye kapde dho liye?

G-Hmm, roz dhoti hoon

M- Haath se?

G-Hmm

She replies while putting the clothes to dry

M- Mere bhi dho diye

He exclaims after seeing his clothes there

G- Haan, pade the toh dho diye

sooo sooo glad that maan wanted to habe contact with geet but alas situations were not in favour n he wanted to protect her

but now that he is with her n felt something for her he wont be able to leave easily this time :)

Lovely update. Thank you! Maan wants to protect Geet but seems like he doesn't Want to leave her either. Poor Geet, her anger and confusion is justified. He can’t just turn up after 2 years to just to see her and for her help.
