Is Choti Anu a Daughter or a Pet cat/dog to Anupamaa?

Sometimes I feel CA is like a cat or dog that has been adopted just for the sake of one's own needs without a regard for its needs. Yes there are pet parents who would go above and beyond even for their furry four legged children but Anupamaa does not fall in that category moreover no real parent would put his furry kids above his actual biological kids. For her the pet is just like an ornament or object to show off or use for her own satisfaction.

I just now posted in the edt and you wrote what I was actually feeling.

This is what I feel too... CA ain't a daughter for her. She agreed for the adoption to please her husband and even now she hasn't accepted CA as her daughter nor a child under her care. She isn't the maa that she is often saying. She just has her daughter as a showpiece to prove she can do sab and is a great Maa. There is no real love and Hence she is failing badly.

Irony is she is not a Mother to her own kids as well. She is just a doormat for them and maybe she feels that being a doormat is equivalent to being a good mother

Neither daughter nor pet/furniture. For shitnupama, CA is a future replacement of herself who can serve the noble and royal Shahs with dedication. Hence, she is training her to be docile, subservient and take in all their abuses and taunts.

A stray dog that accidentally entered her house. For the past few months, she tried to get rid of it but unfortunately, her two-legged pet likes it, so she is allowing the stray to stay in her house to prevent the puppy from barking.

Now I think Paritosh was not wrong to call the adoption agency and complain about Anupamaa. They should have actually taken her back because she sucks at raising a child she didn't birth.

pets are treated better than kids in past few years

if they are unwell my dad or mom take leave from office i never go to school college or office till they get well and become normal and sit by them 18/7 to give them company in illness

in last few decades dogs and cats pets get royal kid treatment from families they get bedrooms and beds play items like kids own tv sets etc

no way pets are treated like little anu too now

they are pampered like anupama did toshu or pakhi

Not all pets, in villages dogs are treated like animals only moreover no person would put a pet animal above their own kids, but my point was anupamaa is not one those pet parents who would give their pet royal kid treatment, she sucks at it, a woman who can hit a cat for entering the house as she has once recalled in the earlier days of the show (yes she is an animal abuser who would ill treat cats)won't give an animal royal kid treatment.
