I am not aware of his fan base at all.. actually I am not aware of anyone's fanbase because I don't follow social media.. As a neutral viewer, I can say that Shiv has his moments.. his bond with his mandali members- Stan, Nimrit, Sumbul and Abdu looks genuine for the most part.. With Sajid its tricky.. Sajid seems to value him as an asset to his team but with time I think Shiv has understood his game..he distances himself by not actively participating in Sajid's mocking sessions of Sumbul..Stan is a more active partner there.. he wasn't happy with the gas lighting Sajid did in Nimrit-Abdu matter, or Sajid's bond with Ankit or Sajid's growing intolerance of Nimrit and her ways.. BUT for whatever reason, he doesn't voice out any of those concerns or differences.. it suits his game to have Sajid on his side I guess because Sajid holds and controls the mandali.. Shiv's core game is to play in jhund till the very end and then use his audience connect, clean image and commoner card to get an edge over people like Sajid and Stan (bad boys)..Abdu will leave soon hence was never a threat..and Nimrit doesn't have it in her to go till the end..This is my assessment of Shiv.

Between Nimrit and Sumbul, Sajid will always want to save Sumbul..

What he might have done on purpose is discuss the idea of saving Nimrit in open..As a result BB intervened and Tina also openly revolted as per promo..now Sajid will be like - don't listen to me then as in save Nimrit..save Sumbul instead..hence pretending that in his heart he wanted to save Nimrit but because his secret plan got busted by BB he couldn't get his way..poor Sajid! got scolded by BB for trying to save Nimmo..

Later on Sajid to Nimmo- dekh mein to tujhe hi bachana chahta tha...tere chakkar me BB ne mujhe jhaad diya
