I had the exact same thought. If they are unwilling to stand by their wives even now then good riddance. Though I doubt Dev would leave Rishita now that they have a daughter.

I think they can show this storyline but only for a short amount of time. Even if they go down this route, the story will probably focus on how they are unhappy with this decision and, most likely, with Dhara trying to bring everyone back together.
