Anuj is THE real doormat not anupamaa

As per me Anuj Kapadiya is the real doormat of this serial not anupama

Anupama is a very clever woman who uses her gender her fake responsibilities to gain symathy from anuj, CA, Malvika, GK Kaka and rest of world (except her Shahs)

I think because vanraj was more manipulative and strict than her her real character never came out in 26 years of shah house. Sometimes we could see her true character like how she behaved rudely with rakhi, told kinjal not to visit her mom, without rakhis desire married toshuto kinjal instead of sending her hhome, kept quiet when vanraj and samar threw nandini out of home etc

But because of domination by Baa and vanraj she had hidden her true nature so far thats coming out on anuj and kapadiyas since wedding

In our side a proverb is there that if slave suddenly gets opportunity to become king he cannot digest it

Or if monkey becomes jungle king he starts thinking hes superior to lion king and starts ordering lion only who can pounce and kill monkey in one second

The same thing has happened to anupama, anuj house has no one to control her or point her grave errors like baa and vanraj in shahs. Anupama knows there are no punishment or consequences if she misbehaves or ill treats anyone in kapadiya mansion oh sorry anupama mansion. She knows that anuj is an useless man madly in love with her like majnu unlike vanraj shah and he has no family no mother father uncle aunty grandparents to take guidance or who can control anupama in kapadiyas.

And shes clearly seized this opportunity with both hands like a monkey who became jungle ka raja and started ordering lions around. Shes even throwing bananas to lions to eat like that king monkey in story. Sadly like that story where lion king got fed up of the monkey and killed it here anuj is no lion king to finish this deshad gardi of anupama and shahs. Hes more like a lamb or deer to be made halal by anupama for shahs benefits.

Sometimes i think is anuj kapadiya US educated highly qualified man because his behaviour with anupama and shahs shows hes a 10th pass chapra bihar university guy whose married an harvard educated business tycoon anupama who can easily manipulate and control him (forget the english). Honestly even 10th pass bihari guys knows what to do if wife like anupaam existed they would send her packing to her mayka and not to come back again.

Anuj has got wrong concept of what is love? What is love whether to wife or in laws? Its equal relationship where you share responsibilities of house equally. Whether responsibility is financial or mental, emotional or physical(like cooking, mopping, dropping kids to school).

Here 99% responsibility is done by anuj only 1% by anupama. Only now that shahs are in kapadiya manion shes 24/7 at home or she will leave at 8am and come at night 11pm tired from visiting shahs. Tats her only work visit shahs or pakhi saying i have work. What work can she doing office because she has no education or skills to handle any office work.

Anuj is exactly same as MAA, blind in love.

MAA tolerated all of Maharaj's toxicity in the name of him being good at heart, dutiful son and father, being overworked and hard-working and being her first love. Maharaj accommodated the needs of all that genuinely mattered to him like his parents, his job, his kids and his girlfriend over MAA.

Anuj is tolerating all of MAA's tantrums in the name of her being good at heart, dutiful daughter (yeah right) and mother (only to her trueborns), being overworking and hard-working and being his first love. MAA is accomodating the needs of all that genuinely matters to her like her pseudo-parents, her non-profitable dance academy, her real kids and her true love over Anuj, the restaurant partnership and CA.

On a positive side, Cheating was the deal breaker for MAA, and cheating might become the deal breaker for Anuj too. Maybe not sexual cheating, but cheating her responsibility with CA. She has done it before, abandoning her on the road, ditching her school function, she will do it again, and maybe this time it might stake CA's health or life. That's definitely should do the trick.

Anuj has a family. He doesn't respect them enough. He doesn't value them.

Otherwise, Anupama still treats Leela with respect after ALL she has done and Vanraj for the so called achche pita.

If he felt so I sufficiently loved even after being given a family, shouldn't he drop his surname and the luxury? Start from scratch minus the last name.

Then we will see how he remains Shahs Buddy.

Anuj also blindly love someone who doesn’t love him. Yes Anupama does not love him. I don’t what it is but that is not love is what I am sure. Same way Anupama also doesn’t love her own Maa. Her own mom was humiliated but then she kept quiet and even now she will. I think in her vein blood does not flow but it is Shah Jaap. In this life she can never love anyone as equal or more than the Shahs. They can kill off Anuj and redeem the shahs (because they are karma free.. took infinite booster doses) and then continue the tamashah that they are doing now
