I think if you ask people who were the most deserving. Yes, I think many Bollywood watches would agree Qala was a great film. Would Tripti performing bring in as many ratings as Jahnvi performing probably not.

Gaurav Verma from Darlings deserved a nomination.

I am sure many are shocked Jogi did not get a single nomination.

Oscars have lost prestige. They were known to be very credible and awarded the best films and performances. But I do think there is enough evidence that Bollywood award shows have lost more respect or any respect from the public or movie fans than there ever was.

All I’ll say is both films that won best movie shershah and coda I haven’t seen 😂

Prestige in people still think getting an Oscar is an accomplishment. Same can no longer be said for filmfare. It is a stage show business.
