i get what you are saying but I have seen several shows like this and been disappointed in the past. What he says as a character to justify himself is often what ends up becoming the makers viewpoint too...they often go down the route of whitewashing such characters and making it seem like despite such behavior, he has valid reasons- he is just misunderstood and misguided but he has heart of gold etc etc...I am just wary of all this after being disappointed by a bunch of ITV shows, If he is made to pay for this behavior then great but will it really happen? Will a character actually be shown being accountable for their actions....

Oh I follow my own formula when it comes to ITV, I only watch 100 episodes. It’s something I have used for all ITV shows. Never watched beyond 100 episodes. Never needed to, by then we know what way this is going, the shows have always disappointed but my decision hasn’t! 😌😌😌😌

She had other choices such as asking Ehsan, going to her mother in law, going ahead with crowd funding, telling Viaan the truth, and accepting the rival company's offer. She chose not to go for any of these options.

The way they have shown the events, it's certainly not the case that she doesn't have another option apart from the ons. It was one of the options during her time crunch, but still a choice she actively made over other options. Yes, agreeing to disagree would be best.

At the same time Katha could have handled the situation better. At last he asked her to leave if not comfortable. She should have left.

So it can't be termed as harassment

Viaan was not bound to give money to her. It was not possible that he would have said ok you are not comfortable but i will give you money..

I believe this parts the maker should have handled well.

Having said that I am excited for upcoming episodes

Viaan went ahead with it because he is too bullheaded to back out last moment.. He even said 'Deal hai toh hai' to Katha.. I know it sounds absurd but we've all seen his ego in that Amrita Mehra track.. He was not even ready to listen to his best friend.. He was like kuch bhi ho main uss lady ke saath kaam nahi karunga.. that was his attitude..

Yes.. I love watching their segment too.. Both can keep audience hook with their talks... The segments are a treat to watch. The Christmas segment of them with aarav was too good.

Yes atleast i feel katha ankahee's execution is better

And i feel Turkish drama industry make better adaptations.

You see Turkish drama "heartbeat" which is adapted from kdrama "doctors" was so good to watch although it became little draggy at the end but still it was good

Also recent drama "ask mantik intakam" was also kdrama adaptation and the pairing of couple became super duper hit

Both viaan and katha have their own shortcoming

If i talk about katha, she could have accepted rival company. But then there are chances, she would be caught then no job plus jail. Who would be looking after her sick child

If she tells about her child may be viaan could have given money but ahe doesnt know him enough to have that trust. Plus she could be risking her job as she lied about her status.

Her child is more important.

On the other viaan, he is influenced by his past. He did gave offer to katha. Has no right to test her and then be miserable that she accepted it. He didnt gave a moment may be she really needed money for something important other than being gold digger. But i wont say he forced her. In the hotel room when he kind of doubted she us not there he told her she can go anytime. But i guess his ego won.

Right now i feel both seem really strong personality in the sense of not being backed/pushed down. They would do what they said would do.

This is about how Katha as an employee is written, not Viaan the boss.

Katha is a new joinee, with what she heard from Rewa & Ehsan, and with little work experience she had with Viaan the boss cum owner of Earth con, she knows Viaan is arrogant, punctual, tough task master, short tempered, not easily approachable, introvert, doesn't draw line between personal & professional rigid opinions, strictly goes by rule book & policies. 😳But she was also surprised & impressed when he apologized publicly plus acknowledged Katha's abilities and made her permanent in the company plus project head.

Katha wasn't comfortable to directly ask Viaan about loan, but she also wasn't taken back by his reaction as to why would company give such a big amount as loan to a new joinee, who became permanent just a day back?

Now her boss shocked her with a indecent proposal in return of a personal monetary favor, and her instant outburst on Viaan was quite normal for her character, professional ethics.👍🏼

When Katha came back to Viaan's cabin to say 'yes' about her choice after talking to her son & his doc, why did she make those three conditions, that it has to be secret between two, Viaan shouldn't refer to the night again, her job & work in office should continue normally? 😔

But why does Katha even want to continue working in same job, in same project with such a boss in his office premises? 😲

Why didn't she think to take money desperately needed for her son's treatment, end association with Viaan, look out for other jobs? What has she concluded about her boss character? that Viaan recruits single woman only to take advantage of them when an easy chance arises, that he is a sleazy guy who has been eyeing her all these days? 🤔that Viaan may be doing similar acts with other female staff and feels working woman easily sell themselves?
