yes we agree that he is a prick here and making assumptions about her. but what I am saying is that she is making this difficult choice for herself.

another thing -- this is a romance drama. she is not going to sue him later or take revenge on him or dry him out. instead, she is going to fall in love with him and have his babies. it is a pretty twisted toxic drama if we are saying he is a harasser and she falls in love with him.

instead, it is far more nuanced grey story. we have a ML who makes indecent pass at a woman. for reasons unknown to him, she accepts. she makes a shocking choice for the sake of her family and while unpleasant, she makes that choice and owns it. so it is consensual on some level and therein lies the drama. that is the FL's trajectory.

But here we have to remember one thing viaan is not bound to help katha. It's his choice. in return if he is asking for indecent favor then it can be termed as indecent but it's not like he is taking advantage of her situation. He is completely unaware of it.

At this moment we can be angry on him that he is making such offer but to consider it rape or even taking advantage is not correct at all

I can see some healthy discussion here .let's scatter it on forum. I came in beginning of week to have discussion but found the forum to be quite and inactive. Was not knowing discussion happens in this thread.

Saw an intriguing discussion going on here and couldn't stop myself from replying.

But to reiterate what @mango.falooda said, in reposnse to the 1st phrase in bold:

If we are being crude here, Katha herself comes in and says "I'm sorry, and yes, mujhe shart manzur hai". So she herself tells that she's ready for the transactional ons. And she gives more than a hint that she's doing this for money. She explicitly and very clearly says that it is for money. That is not necessarily something to be judged. As adults, they're free to do what they please.

As for the 2nd phrase in bold, again, she's the one who says okay to this and actively takes the ons discussion forward after coming back into his office. She's owning this decision and it is no reason to judge her.

In fact, even women who are escorts may have compulsions and majburis in life because of which they have to come upfront, just like Katha here, and become an escort and do something they may not want to. That doesn't give anyone the right to judge them. Who knows what they may be going through?

There's no point talking about Viaan here. What he asked and why he asked are all for the wrong reasons. That is unrelated to my point.

Before making claims such as whether another person has clearly understood the point or not, please try to apply your own advice - read what other people have said again. We are talking about Katha here.

For whatever reason Viaan made the offer, the fact is that Katha accepted it. And led the discussion. She owns the choice. That is the point. She did ask for money before the ons offer. And she also didn't attempt to explain why she needed the loan, nor did she give any explanation.

And people in the world generally tend to ask or say anything they please. There's no point repeating that Viaan is wrong. He is wrong, of course. But that doesn't make Katha a victim. That's where the grey element comes in this story. The reality here is that Katha accepted it and actively led the terms and conditions of the transactional ons, which shows that she's clearly not the victim here.

My points

1.Katha did not give hint of gold digger

When we meet strangers we don't immediately trust him or her.

We take time. Katha us not giving hint of gold digger does not make a valid argument.

For strangers we get impressed gradually with good quality. Until now in office no one knows how katha really is.

Points that vian has observed is

1.she gets late in important meetings

2.is extremely talented

3 negotiated with that lady for Dubai project

He is not aware of her quality that she is not GD

He has preconceived notion that women are gold digger. So he is behaving according to it.

Regarding katha not showing interest : that is not anyway related to ONS
