Probably because Shivam - Senjuti performed on it in Love Special just recently. Not that there are not repeats in Indian Idol but may be it was too soon.

Btws, like you said, some songs were new to me too - heard it for the first time.

Sunday Episode

Some of the songs I heard for the first time. Guests were good especially Ayesha Jhulka, liked her.

All the girls gave superb performances. Actually except Navdeep I liked everyone's performance.

No elimination for the first time this season.

So why did they show like there was going to be one in the preview for Sun at the end of Sat episode ?😕

Probably a weird comment but I actually think Rishi and Bidipta are damn cute together 😆😳 I find that they have better onscreen chemistry in terms of AruDeep (singing wise no but everything else yes if that makes sense ) lol Rishi seems truly smitten whereas Aru- Pawan seemed awkward to me during that season(idk if they’re really dating currently or not) but during that season I wasn’t buying them at all despite them forcing them down our throats.

Overall the sat episode was meh, they were good performances nothing really stood out to me. I feel bad for Senjuti however (she’s my fave this season) hope that she doesn’t quit or something I can see her having a career after the show.

They r both kind of non demonstrative and silent kind of persons. But we saw them always together during the season and even currently on their shows

Those reactions cannot be scripted.

In this case , as I said before Rishi may have fallen for Bidipta due to the ceaseless efforts of TCT & channel, but Bidipta doesn’t appear to follow suit. Probably she already has someone in her life. Just my two cents, as per what is evident now. Of course, we all have our perspectives. Nice to have different opinions too. 😊

Forget the awkwardness - Aru’s reaction on 2 instances was a give-away a) when PD had performed during Covid through a video call

There were bottom 3- Chirag, Kavya & Vineet but no one was eliminated. I think the reason for no elimination was New Year Special episode which was shot in advance.

Chirag is so bekar singer yet isko rakha hai😆
