IMO, Jasmine's plan has changed, as she now wants to get Nikhil into Advait's position. Earlier, her idea was to quietly get things done, but her circumstances have changed drastically with Nikhil and Naaz's marriage.

During the wedding, when Shelly asked, Jasmine could have simply said Nehmat isn't her daughter, yet she did not want to say that. Jasmine didn't want the Kapoors to know about her relationship with Naaz. However, now she is openly saying it when she knows well that Kapoor can use that information to blackmail her. Also, Jasmine could have easily gotten Naaz married to Advait if she told this truth to Shamsher during the wedding. So what I can understand is that Jasmine has changed her mind. Another reason is that Jasmine has to return to Canada as soon as possible. So she doesn't want to waste time anymore and wants to use the easiest way to get Naaz what she wants.

The problem with Ekam Nehmat is they get married and then what!! There is nothing interesting to watch. Plus the actors have zero chemistry.

They are so damn syrupy, I, personally can’t watch them. I skip over their scenes.

No one will be after Nehmat because she’s not in Naaz or Jasmine’s way.

By separating them, drama has been created and let’s be honest. Drama = TRP in ITV.

I don’t know where they are going with the story. It’s moving at jet speed. I mean, Nehmat being adopted and all.

Guess, time will tell.

Nehmat didn't realise the simple fact that Jasmine knows Shamsher and Advait. I mean Jasmine calls Shamsher by his first name and the way they behave with each other is a clear sign that Shamsher and Advait know Jasmine for a long time.

@red: show will end because Nekham has fulfilled all their dreams. Once the truth is out Mallika and Nehmat will go back to be best friends again. Ekam and Mallika's mom will also accept Nehmat for her kid's sake. They can simply show Ekam and Nehmat living a happy life. Nehmat is already a reporter and Ekam is a police officer so they don't have career tracks.

They can threaten to expose her . jasmin has power because of her husband mr.ahluwalia's money . Does mr.ahluwalia knows that his wife is jasmin sandhu who had an affair with her sisters husband , left her daughter and has a criminal case . If he doesn't then they can threaten her . And if jasmin has to chose between her daughter vs power , money. We already know what will jasmin chose .

Makers don't have that much of brain to write a sensible story. Anyways, we don't know how Jasmine migrated to Canada. In the earlier episodes, she said the man she is married to gave her shelter, but didn't want her to have any connections with past. So he probably knows something. Also, Jasmine has been funding Shamsher for a long time and she hasn't had any issues. So I don't think it will be an issue. Also, Shamsher doesn't know Jasmine's husband. Jasmine's husband might even have a different last name. Also, what would they get threatening Jasmine? She is their main investor. If Jasmine refuses to give money who will fund Kapoor's election campaign? Jasmine's husband will not spend money on Kapoors.
