There is no resolution of issues between SaiRat...so they are being in status quo for now...Virat is looking at his marriage as a duty he has to fulfill because apparently P has done some ehsaan on him. Now he is feeling guilty & under pressure after the bus accident.

That was kind of confirmed when they made Sai stop blaming PL of ruining her life and saying Virat chose PL his first love.

All characters only flip- they dont have character arch n change. Varna Virat would never have married PL, Sai would have never forgiven Virat n PL.
Now since they r making Virat move on with PL they have to show Sai has feelings, varna its win win for all. Whats conflict?

Well kids r but its evident how kids r only used so Sai has some ss, their being has not change any dynamic of three, it just to keep Sai in NP thats the only role kids have so far unfortunately
