Well Maan handled that creep well 🤭 but how come he is here & asking for help from Geet? 🤔ᴴᴹᴹ it was really awkward for both of them but as Maan helped her she too didn't disappointed him ☺

Let's see what will happen now & what brings him back to Geet now as this entire situation is going to be tricky 🤗

Intriguing update….terrifically written

Geet's reaction seeing Maan there was justified

her questions were reasonable

why does Maan want her help?

seems like he was keeping an eye on her whereabouts

so Maan wants to stay with her for a few dates

as expected she was skeptical as she stays in one room

pleased that Maan assures her

she agreed as he helped her

sad seeing the awkwardness between them

but this was expected

well she did not have enough food for the both of them

at least Maan went to buy something to eat

not surprised she asked about money

why is Maan there?

Maan is there to stay for sometime why what is issue with maan , poor geet maan is feeling uncomfortable with each other as they are meeting after 2 years can't wait to read further parts

geet is very much surprise seeing maan come back after these many days

geet decide to help maan in return of maan's help n care

Part 16

Both look at each for a whole minute

The eye contact breaks as Maan realizes he should get going

He starts to go

G- Woh…paise…

He stops mid-way

M- Paise….hain

She nods

As Maan leaves, Geet lets out a deep breath that she didn’t realize she was holding, while wondering why is he back? What trouble is he in? Can she trust him enough to let him stay with her?

Both are silently having the food

G- Thanks for the food and about that too

She says referring to Maan saving her from her leech neighbour

He nods

M- Thanks for letting me stay

Geet also nods formally

Both continue eating

G- How did you know I was here?

Geet asks as the question arises in her mind

He looks at her

M- You told me you are going to Hyderabad, last time we met

She gazes at him astonished that he still remembered

M- and two years is enough time to find someone

He confesses

She looks at him with surprise and confusion, not fully understanding what he meant

Their eyes meet for a second then Geet moves her eyes away

She does not want to raise her hopes

M- So tumhari jasoosi kaisi chal rahi hai?

He says to change the topic

G- I work as Data entry operator in a small start up

She replies dryly

M- Oh. But you wanted to be a detective…

G- I realized there is a vast gap between dreams and reality. Dreams don’t come true, and reality is what we live with

She says and walks to the kitchen with the dishes

Maan is surprised himself, he feels Geet he knew has changed

Maan follows her and washes his own dish

Geet does not protest

She walks to her cupboard and fetches a spare pillow and bedsheet and hands them over to Maan

She goes to her single bed and lays down

Maan is struggling to find a room in that tiny room to set his make do bed

Finally, he spreads the sheet on the floor just at the foot of Geet’s bed

The floor is hard

He curls up like a fetus and shuts his eyes, trying to get some sleep

As Maan opens his eyes in the morning, he sees Geet is ready to go to work

She looks and dresses much more feminine now, he notices

Geet sees Maan is awake

G- Office jaa rahi hoon. Ghar mein samaan hai, you can cook if you feel hungry

He nods

M- Thanks

Geet grabs her purse and leaves

She is on the bus, on the way to office

She doesn't know what she feels

She feels a void

She does not know is it good or bad

If this would have been few years back, she would have been excited, elated, happy…. but now nothing

Maybe, that’s why they say time heals everything

She thinks to herself
