Nehmat's situation is kinda tough. I get her silence though because she is unable to reconcile with many things.

First thing first, unlike Tejo she has gone through a massive heartbreak. The fact that she isn't lashing out like Fateh speaks a lot about Tejo's influence in her.

Second, she somewhere considers herself responsible for the mess. She knows she has been loyal but then again, she was the one in those pics. She knows that's why Mallika and Ekam feel betrayed. She is hurt but circumstances have made her party to the situation Advait Ekam and Mallika are in.

Thirdly she is at uneven ground with Advait. For all she knows, Advait probably loved Mallika. She feels bad about it too. Her trying to give him sorted replies ans letting him vent without saying anything highlights that she thinks him to be a victim of the forced marriage too. Let's face it, only the audience knows about his Kands. For Nehmat, he is a good person.

Lastly it is Naaz. Her sister tried to kill herself. Nehmat would not want anything to jeopardize her sister's fate. She would do anything for Naaz's happiness and if it meant turning a deaf ear to some taunts so be it.

All these factors + the fact that Kapoors are an unfamiliar ground where she already knows they are not fond of her give the basis of her quiet receptivity.

However that doesn't mean she is a doormat. Like Advait's uncle told her not to be a furniture; Nehmat would soon return to her form - the real Nehmat who has been lost for some time.

And the uncle's words are prophetic - one day everyone will be glad she married into the family and that is the absolute truth.

Because Nehmat is the salvation of those in the family innocent of the murders. And it is Nehmat's fate that has brought her so close to the existence of the criminal who killed her parents so that justice isn't far away.

you pin point correctly she is thinking advait is forced to this marriage and loves mallika she doesn't know the truth that he is after mallika to separate nehkam so feeling guilty and other reason is naaz and any wrong thing from her might get in naaz problem

but as prince uncle said she will not be doormat and will make place of her own not being furniture like him. and yes her faith has brought her closer to her parents murderer which will disclose soon. hope she will strong to give back atleast to advait in private.

Advait is in his own conundrum. He was comfortable with Nehmat before because he knew she had no designs on him. Her love for Ekam made her a secure person to be with.

Everyone is reaching one by one to insult Nehmat. Next up is Mallika. Saw a shoot video of Nehmat & Mallika, where the latter is taunting Nehmat.

I felt second-hand embarrassment for nehmat when she thanked him only for him to reach for his phone and ignore her.

Though I appreciated her character there. Even after so much and lets face it, she has gone through the toughest circumstances out of all four; she still has basic courtesy. Something neither Advait, Ekam Or Mallika have.

This shows the strength of her character. This is why she is the lead.

Today's episode highlights

* Even though Advait is really annoyed having Nehmat as his wife he is finally not lashing out at Nehmat very badly neither doing physical harm rather speaking to Nehmat in much calmer tone with facts. He cleared to Nehmat that their bedroom cannot hold three people ( Advait - Nehmat- Ekam). He threw Ekam's picture into the dustbin. But in the morning Nehmat took the picture back and placed it in her suitcase.

* Nikhil tells Naaz if Nehmat wouldn't have made the decision to marry Advait he would have left everything for her. Naaz isn't happy she says in her mind that along with Nikhil's love she wants everything that belongs to Nikhil.

* In the morning Shamsher shows Advait the Newspaper articles on Nehavit wedding. Shamsher tries to pacify Advait. But Advait isn't interested. Naaz walks in with tea and tries to cajole Shamsher. While blessing Naaz Shamsher loving tells her to persuade Nikhil. He wants Nikhil to start working in their company. Naaz sees the newspapers which has Advait- Nehmat wedding pic, and gets upset that there not even a single picture of NikNaaz. (Naaz is really not happy that Advait taking all the limelight).

* There is a Nehvait seen with the article. Also, thankfully Ekam is back to normal. He doesn't allow the police officers to gossip about Nehkam relationship.
