Yeah Mallika's character is not required at all.

There's enough and more negative characters (Jasmine, Naaz, Shamsher, Shelly) and there's no room for more.

The CVs should either kill Mallika or send her off to another place.

Ekam's mother Renuka can also die in shock hearing about her daughter's death which will kill off one more character.

Only thing, Ekam will become an orphan and will be in the most painful situation of all characters in the show.

But still it's alright, because there are too many characters in the show and they need to reduce the number of characters.

Good point!! Right now Nehmat being in love with Ekam is a sore point for him.
