That's because there is a clear difference in the two situations. Ankit saved Sajid after Soundarya played the task to help Ankit win and he only had two options and chose Sajid. And Sajid wasn't even supporting Ankit to win the task, it was only when he saw that Ankit would win, he came to talk to Ankit to save him. Soundarya had three options, Archana was already safe, and she was able to save both Ankit and Priyanka, and also saving Nimrit to win some favor with her. If Archana wasn't safe, then I'm pretty sure she would have saved Archana and not Nimrit.

Saundarya is not a threat to mandali because she doesn't have the baggage aka Ankit associated with her..that's why Nimrit is ok saving her..Had Saundarya been loyal to Priyanka the way Ankit is, Nimrit would've never made her captain..
