I think this scene is after that bts scene where vidhi comes home from hospital all sad and locks herself in room. Dev comes & might give her himmat to be strong and fight the world, that she didnt do any paap, she shouldnt feel ashamed, thats why vidhi does Pooja next morning and makes it seem like everything is normal.

well i am not that happy, yeh face cup karne wala scene bhi bs bimla ko dikhane ke liye dala gya hai, nothing else. otherwise dev kabhi pehle aisa nhi kiya vidhi ke saath. 🤔
