Chirag is improving a lot. I did not like navdeep performance and Kavya’s. They should give her good songs. I feel like they eliminated anushka for the sake of eliminating.

Kavya's strength is these type of songs..modern or western..she falters in melody. They r playing to her strengths

Yeah but a singer is supposed to be versatile. They can’t hold on to 1 type of genre

Ya..but this has been the way Idol works off late. Even last season SMP had a particular genre, Ashish sang more of stage friendly foot tapping numbers, Anjali did more of classical, Sayli-peppy songs mostly by Asha ji, Arunita-Soulful classics by Lataji, Danish-sufi/lots of Aalaps..

This season Navdeep hardly sings outside of his genre..All the girls sing more or less same kind of songs..so none stands out as such..and all have their high n low weeks..can't decide on favs

They really did injustice with Anuska and don’t think they will ever put Navdeep in bottom 3. Haven’t followed show that much but whatever the performances I have heard from him not really fan of his singing . About Kavya even if she comes in buttom she will get through it with votes just like when she was in Voice India kids she kind of reached finale through votes and some deserving contestant got eliminated because of not having enough votes.

Todays episode was good singing wise. Most of the contestants sang rather well.

Vineet - his performance was ok. It just seems like he’s either overconfident or bored. The spunk was missing. When it comes to melody, I can’t find faults, but it’s not something I’d want to listen to again.

Senjuti - fantastic. I always thought she’d not reach the top 7-8 but I stand corrected. She’s on a high these last few performances. Flawless.

Chirag - he clearly got some lovely songs to sing, Infact both songs have such a lovely melody and that should’ve already given him an edge. But it almost sounds like he’s singing with no energy. He sang well, but it lacked the punch and I’ve noticed this with him many times. He’s the weakest of the remaining lot (along with Navdeep - only because he’s stuck to one genre). I fear he may go next, and his live story is also over.

Bidipta - I was listening to her while in the kitchen so I was distracted, but whatever I could hear she sang well. I remember I liked her right from the audition, but she was a shadow of what she is now. Hers (and Debosmita’s) graph has the sharpest incline.

Shivam - a typical Shivam performance. Good. I preferred his first song - dilbar mere much more than his second.

Rishi - Everytime Hema Malini comes on a singing show someone sings dream girl, so when someone sings there are bound to be comparisons. This was an average performance for me.

Debosmita - wow! This girl is brilliant. It’s a shame she’s not as popular as some of the others, because she’s clearly the best female singer this year (my opinion, though I quite like the others).

Sonakshi - another applause worthy performance. A tough song to sing and she did full justice.

Kavya - surprisingly, I liked her performance today. If I not pick, I can find faults. But I enjoyed it.

Navdeep - when it comes to raaga based songs, he doesn’t go wrong. He sang very well. After a long time I enjoyed a performance of his. Usually I’m bored because it’s like listening to the same stuff again, today was different.

It was sad to see Anushka go over Kavya (who I haven’t liked even once until today) or even Navdeep (who’s not versatile). But this was expected.

I have not watched any Idol show till date where all the contestants were individually not sent to the bottom at least once.
In the last season Arunita was the add on contestant to the 1st elimination and Pawan was used to remove Sawai because only Pawan had higher votes than Sawai.
This is the case here. Anushka must have got a lot of votes and they needed to send two who got more than her to eliminate her. Hence the choice. These gimmicks of Sony / TCT are now very easy to read.

Agree about Kavya. I had predicted this when she was selected. She will be hard to stop. She polls lots of votes like Sawai used to. Has nothing to do with her performance(s).

Honestly I don't like this voting system because of this some deserving contestant has to go early and one who should go gets to stay because of the votes. Saregamapa lil Champs 2019 has been my favorite of reality show till now coz they had some amazing bunch of talent and also most important thing is they didn't use voting system throughout the season it was Jury and judges decision which they did pretty good when eliminating the contestant even show was won by deserving contestant.

Contrary to popular opinion I have liked Kavya ever since her first performance. In Western style no other girl is as good as her. Her husky tonal quality also helps. Anushka is definitely weaker than her at least in this genre. She is more versatile but has had less enjoyable performances. But Navdeep deserved to go more than her. In duet with Senjuti judges were supposed to mark him n not her..but he was not even audible sometimes infront of Senjuti's strong voice.

Navdeep or Chirag next time I guess
