‘Tumhare husband toh kisi aur sheher mein rehte hai naa?’

Her boss asks

G- Haan

‘Kis profession mein hain tumhare husband?’

G-emm…wo…wo…forest officer hain

She randomly says

‘Arre wahhh, how exciting!’

Everybody squeals

Geet gives a formal grin

‘Kahan pe’

G- emm..woh…Bandipur National forest

She says the farthest place she could think of

Geet huffs with exhaustion while carrying her groceries

She looks at the stairs that she will now has to climb with all these heavy groceries

She lives on the 2nd floor and these stairs are bane of her existence

She mentally prepares herself for the drill

She is huffing & puffing while struggling to pull everything onto the stairs

Her low rent made sure that the stairs were especially narrow, uneven & dimly lit

Anyhow, she had made do with whatever she had

As she was pulling all her stuff she was stopped at her track as her creepy landlord stands on her way

‘Arre Geet, kaisi ho?’

G- Maan theek hoon. Thanks

She tries to make way and move past him as he is too close for comfort

‘Arre are, kitna bhaari samman hai. Let me help you’

G- Nahi, it’s okay.

She moves back as he tries to hold the grocery bag where she was holding, his hand brushing hers

She quickly climbs up with her stuff

She plants to quickly unlock her door and get in

Geet starts to put the key inside the lock and pushes the door open

The landlord inserts himself between the door before she could get in and close it

Geet is taken aback

She knows that the landlord would act this way coz she lived alone, and he knew it

‘Main toh puchna bhool hi gaya, meri wife aur bachche bhi ghar pe nahi hai…tum bhi akeli ho…toh chalo saath mein dinner karte hain, chill karte hain. Akele akele kahan tumhara bhi mann lagta hoga’

He is physically barging in

Geet is alarmed now

Par samajh nahi aa raha kya kare

should she yell?

But aas-paas aur koi hai nahi jo aayega

Aur, ghar tohi iska hai…Geet ko hi nikaal denge

G- emm…nahi woh…

Landlord- Arre akeli ho, main company de dunga….kya problem hai?’

‘Koi problem nahi hai, but we have plans. Kisi din hum sab saath mein catch-up karenge’

She hears the deep yet familiar voice

Before she could understand anything, she finds Maan walk in between the landlord and her so that the landlord retracks his steps

Geet is freezed at her place her eyes stuck at what she is seeing

The landlord is looking up at the towering Maan in front of him

He musters the courage to question the new man

Landlord- Aap?

Maan speaks up

Maan- Maan. Geet;s husband

The landlord gazes inside Geet’s house and sees the wedding pictures with Maan on it and then looks again at Maan

He sighs & sinks back

He is now afraid and vary of the strong built guy in front of him

The landlord smiles trying to ease the situation

Landlord- emm…eh…are Geet…tumne bataya nahi tumhara husnad aane wala hai

Geet is still in a daze

Maan speaks up

Maan- Surprise tha. Aaap bhi apni wife ko surprises dete honge naa

Maan says reminding the creepy guy about his family

Landlord- emm…haan…ap log enjoy karo. Main chalta hoon. Who, Geet akeli rehti hai toh I feel responsible toh main haal puchne aa jaata hoon, to make sure she is fine

Maan- Thank you very much for being an elder brother to my wife

Maan says with a straight face while moving towards the other man to make sure he is out of the house

Maan shuts the door behind and mutters’ what a creep’ under his breath as he turns to face Geet

🥳Maan is back to Geet... and what an entry.!!!!!.. hffff he is back, I am so relieved .

Now do whatever you want but don't separate them please...😳
