2 actors asking for more SS is not wrong but such a request being entertained by makers even when their SS is not justified - because P actor is pathetic and VP together is clearly disliked by audience - is clearly not ok. Its unprofessional. Why have they accomodated VP screentime together by butchering the characterization of V and the plot?

Now its beyond repair.

Its truly horrible how V is written.

He comes across worse than P and JM also which is amazing given that all these characters are out and out criminals.

He has ZERO consistency. Not even within one episode. He literally flips in a matter of seconds and it is so jarring to watch as audience.

Honestly Ps actions have an arc that is understandable given her character. She is completely unforgivable but nothing that she's done/doing seems off. She's known to be manipulative, self pity loving, playing bechaari, obsessed with V. So it makes sense that she goes from hate Savi to ordering cake to manipulate V into thinking shes actually a nice kind hearted person. But V believing it so easily and pretending as if he never heard her say i hate Savi with so much venom is ridiculous!

V constantly falling for her every manipulation, lie is crazy. He knows more than anyone how much she can manipulate, yet he has always given her too much leeway. Even after episodes like ajinkya kaand, her behaviour in hospital after Sai accident both times, her openly telling him to elope with her, etc etc etc he still trusted that she was only misguided and bechaari. Similarly even after her epic dhokha during surrogacy kaand, how is it normal for him to bail P out and expect Sai to be cool. He could have bailed but ensured she didn't return to CN, he could have always held her accountable for Sai leaving and her death and had a distance from her but allowing her to help raise Vinu as a kaku rather than mother. They could have made the conflicts different. That family is pressurizing V P for marriage but he resists. They could have smartly shown Vinu never directly call P mom in front of Sai to maintain that suspense or maybe Chavans force Vinu to address P as mother because she raises him and Vinu doing so in his innocence. They could have kept the suspense of VP married status not being disclosed to Sai. That way V would still have something to redeem himself. But here he has crossed ALL lines.

Not only has he essentially confirmed he's a horrible husband, he is a horrible father too.

He put his ego before Vinu repeatedly and had to be convinced by P and lavk of other options to allow Sai to cure Vinu. And ultimately Sai did things without his knowledge because he was getting in the way of Vinus cure. He was horrific in his parenting.

He forgot about Vinu's request to have a tulabhaar for him too.

He put his ego before Savi also by jailing Sai and taking Savi for picnic against Sai's wishes.

He hasnt for a second asked to see Savi's pictires, childhood memories etc.

Him not knowing Savi's birthday reflects HIS personality, character. The audacity to blame Sai for things he as father failed to even enquire is truly mind-blowing

Why does he never show his large heartedness. You can't "hate" somebody who you used to love, the mother of your child like that. Sai always get scenes to show that soft corner. During Shruti kaand she felt betrayed, she was angry but she didn't want V to lose his job for the sake of infidelity so she helped him even while she took a strong stance for herself. She has always done these little things to show her insaaniyat and her soft corner. She is a big hearted person. She doesn't forget anything but she doesn't let her grouses get in the way of whats correct. She always looks at another person's emotions, she doesn't wish ill upon anyone. Its a beautiful character. Someone whose integrity and moral compass is spot on.

And after all this to see makers give him more SS with P, to butcher him to a new low everyday and get whitewashed eventually as a very righteous man who is good at his ips profession is utterly BS. He deserves to pay for his crimes.

The larger issue is how ITV plots are constantly brushing under the rug such problematic behaviour.

Shruti kaand Scot free and now again! I mean- c'mon. When will there ever be justice on this show?!
