The difference is Priyanka is okay with him not taking stand for her regarding game, she can handle it herself. She has said that, it was only because Salman told him that he goes & sits with people his friend had a fight with. That's why Priyanka was asking him to take stand for her he did aswell many times. There was a conversation where in a fight she asked him whether he considers her even a friend or not and he replied that he would not even want to answer such a pathetic question.

That's the problem she wants everything to be said by him where other side he gets pissed when his intentions get questioned by her.

I believe he has proved how much she values to him quite a number of time aswell. He didn't let Soundarya come between them , he cleared sajid that it's him who doesn't let her go , on every WKV whenever contestants target them he takes stand for their friendship . He comes to pacify her whenever she gets upset .Then In what other ways he should express that he values her? The moment she told him that she has become a villain . I can see him taking stand for her everywhere. He knows she has done alot for him and does value her. Difference is just in their mode of expression. Priyanka is saying "tu mere liye stand nhi leta" right from the first week. I find priyanka also wrong It's she who has highlighted all this by constantly making this remark that how much giving is she in a relationship and how passive and thankless he is !!

The problem is both of their expression of emotion is different. While Priyanka is expressive with words, he shows his care & love through actions. But when you are in such a show your words do matter, it does have an impact. Even Priyanka cares for him so much, we see through her actions too but what gets highlighted? What does people pick up on her for? Her harsh words right? It's the similar case. Why would the rule be different for him? Yes, his actions show his care but he never puts them into word. Not everyone is invested in their equation to understand those underlined actions. So people will go by his words or silence which is what has set this narrative in the first place.. And, it's only him who can stop it.

Also, expecting your friend to have your back infront of others, and behind your back regarding your friendship is litterally the bare minimum. You can only seek that validation till a point of time after that even she will give up. I think she will learn eventually and stop having any expectations from him at all, which I just hope happens soon. That will be good for both of them & their games.

That's where Ankit is wrong . He never says things in words and wants his actions to be counted only. Which is definitely not a BB thing and this is the reason he is getting misjudged today . I personally feel they both are really fond of each other and before their relationship becomes a joke on National television and get dissected by people . They better start maintaining distance and play individually.
