Sorry but I don't think either Sajal or Yumna gave award winning performances in Ishq E Laa, although Sajal's character was definitely stronger.

On the other hand, even though Hania's character in Mere Humsafar was that of a weak girl, I thought she performed brilliantly. Ushna is also great in Habs.

I also used to think that Yumna doesn't look like a boy; however when I read that the drama is based on the real-life story of Farheen Ishtiaq Naqvi and saw her pictures then I realize that Yumna created her look pretty successfully.

Also, in the drama, Bakhtu is never shown as a manly guy. He's called a 'Larki numa Larka'. Even at the dhaba, the man who was after him called him something like 'Larkiyoun ki tarah chikna'.

This girl wasn't happy with her story being told this way.🤔

Thank you for explaining the point about Bakhtu. I love Yumna , I want her to win .. she deserved it for DNUTN but didn't get it. I don't mind her winning for Bakhtawar.. if it ends on 2022. 😃

I am happy to hear that Ushna has improved. She has been annoying in most of her previous shows so I was pissed when I heard shes the lead in this show and put me off from watching it lol

True, both hum and lsa did injustice. They probably did not give her as it was not a hum drama

I agree. In DNUTN did a complicated role, and showed lots of emotions. That was very rare to watch such lead character in Pakistani dramas. But I guess they ignored it because of the controversary. Coz PEMRA kept sending notices to the makers and the channels about the content of this drama.
