She deletes posts after she gets threats and trolls. But it is clear she was quite hurt.

I am shocked why girls fall for this man. Or he has female fans. Or his colleagues portray him as bechara.

I must say Ash and Kat had lucky escape.

Her physical bruises got healed but mentally she could never overcome her traumatic past.

Salman just was lucky that he got all success n fame n he is able to help others with that money. But all talks of golden heart salman is shit. He just helps ppl to clean his image its PR activity. Now no one talks about being human after his case is over.

Well, a lot of that is because no one wants to stand out in the crowd and call Salman what he really is. No one wants that kind of headline and controversy because they are worried it will affect their careers, and it might.

All that being said, I also genuinely feel that he probably is a good friend to some of these guys. A domestic abuser doesn’t have a particular face or personality. He (mostly he, there have been cases of the wife being the abuser) can be a great teacher, doctor, government worker, etc. He can go out of his way to help his friends and community. He can even stand up for women and victims at times (though this doesn’t apply to Salman). But the minute he gets home and shuts the door behind him he’s an abuser who terrifies his partner. So the likes of Sushmita or Preity who always stick by him or defend him probably do so because they’ve never witnessed the Salman that Somy or Aishwarya has seen. So take all of this and add the reality that everyone in Bollywood wants to survive and it’s become a perfect place for someone like Salman to flourish. I reckon there are other domestic abusers in Bollywood as well that the public doesn’t know about. We know of Salman because Ash spoke out, and then the drunk driving incident put everything out in the public eye.

It is also possible that Somy has seen the worst of it as she was the most vulnerable girl of all his girlfriends. No real family or friends in India to speak off. A young 16-17 year old girl all alone in Bollywood with virtually no support system. And if I’m not mistaken there have been stories of a fallout with her family in the U.S. as well.

I am sure she was subjected to the abuse she says she was. That woman was in terms when she landed in Mumbai and had to suddenly wakeup to harsh realities of the world! But I wonder why she used to be so chummy with him and defended him many times until very recently. Anyways it's never too late to open up about the abuse one faced if not anything it will help the person in finding peace.

Victims of domestic abuse often go through a cycle of self-preservation and guilt. During their guilt phase, they forgive their abuser. It’s not just the physical abuse they endure, it’s the ever lasting mental trauma the abuser leaves behind on their psyche. So the victims tend to gaslight themselves even long after the relationship with the abuser has ended. I am not at all surprised Somi goes back and forth. In fact, that is exactly what makes me believe in her claims.

Obviously. This 'golden heart', 'yaaron ka yaar' or 'child at heart' or his dad claiming he is misunderstood like Karna or his colleagues like Mahesh Manjrekar portraying him as lonely childlike guy and that Being Human all seem to be major PR and image cleaning exercise.

Some have also tried to portray him as honest and call others fake or diplomatic as if fighting with media, filmmakers, fans, colleagues and women is sign of being transparent or raw.

Most of his male fans kind of idolise him and see nothing wrong in abuse he committed and think women are either lying or they deserved it and portray Salman as some hero moving from one young woman to another or like some victim who women use and throw.

Salman is easily the posterboy of toxic masculinity.

Sanjay Dutt is another one who tries to act as misunderstood manchild or victim of bad luck.

This is the explanation i also believe to be what's happening...

People are not black and whites.

A good caring protective friend can also be an abuser and emotionally manipulative person... Which often leaves the victim confused and guilty instead.

There is always more to a story with a lot of noise around it.

One can say that SA & SK are still quite decent to each other 👍🏼

Yeah many behave decent in public but are absolute devils inside 4 walls of own room or house.

Somy was quite vulnerable and also tried drugs then. I think she got carried away when Salman got her work in films. The whole prospect of becoming a star would have enticed her.

Having said that, I did not expect some self styled woman icon like Sush to support Salman.

Preity was one with internalised misogyny anyway given how she mocked metoo movement also.

I definitely agree there are other abusers. Just as most men are in real life too (no exaggeration, slapping wife or kicking kids or breaking things at home are common).

Verbal and emotional abuse are also common.

A man of course, will always use excuses like 'sides of story' or 'more to a story' to obfuscate the issue.

Being cordial or non confrontational in public is what abuser does to keep own image and victim does to save oneself from any backlash. It does not mean there was no abuse.
