yes its not similar but it was about how a muslim girl adjust in a hindu orthodox family....The ML marries FL to help her to pursue her dream..The diffence is he saves her from an aggressive father who tried marry her off with a random guy for money..However they were already in love before marriage...The hero was already engaged with her long term GF..so thats how the story follows ..
