But in that show they are from a religion that allows multiple marriages. ML fell in love with another lady, wants to marry her after getting his first wife's persmission (who refuses I guess). First wife is a known actress so am guessing she is FL and 2nd wife is vamp.

Rest of ITV shows have Hindu as religion, so simultaneously married to 2 people is unrealistic, but possible. Just one example:
