Maybe but mainly it was because of Sumbul because she was already part of Sajid’s gang. So he was just there to be with her. She doesn’t really sit with other gang as much.

Celebs often lies infront of media that they "don't watch" Bigg Boss either to look cool or to avoid media questions. I'm going with the latter, as Fahmaan probably wanted to avoid questions related to Sumbul who's surrounded with controversies. Fahmaan indeed watches BB, maybe not regularly, but he does.

It was evident from the way he spoke to everyone.

I don’t think he joined Sajid’s gang. He was there for one day to support Sumbul he would not have said anything to jeopardize her support. That being said he said some good things about Archana as well. We cannot judge him based on one day’s behavior.
