I would have liked it if the ML nor the FL were damsels in distress. Why can’t the makers make a story relevant to match 21st century where there are so many sources for them to act rationally rather than dumb. Here the ML is dumbed down so much but is also a highly successful business man. FL is shown as strong and practical in the beginning but start to make dumb decisions once she’s married.Originally posted by: Bottlewater

let's change the narrative and call Ram still the hero rather than heroine. The hero who is in distress. The hero who is emotional. The hero who make mistakes . The hero who needs heroine to be saved.
Priya is the heroine. The heroine who is the saviour. The heroine who is strong. The heroine who is emotionally mature. The heroine who saves the hero everytime.
Let's change the narrative of what would potray as a hero and what would as a heroine.
Not every heroine is in damsel in distress and not every hero is the saviour.
