Because, Ig, Ram has (and always had) soft spot for Vedika. Otherwise, who would give his company shares to their ex (Vedika holds some of the company shares). Ram is as equally responsible as Vedika in the wrongdoings (although not intentionally). He could have cut her off from his life long back but he didn't. Vedika has always been hanging around the Kapoor Mansion and around Ram because Ram allowed it to ( he never told her that they should maintain a healthy distance because of their past). Ram is a grown up man. He isnt someone in his late teens or early twenties who has to partially rely on their guardian for decision making. He never makes his own decision.

Imagine being Ram's wife. The Ram Kapoor, who gives some of his company shares to his ex (unless Ram and his ex started the company together, holding shares then made sense). The Ram Kapoor, who's ex hangs around in the same roof as your's and he doesn't say anything. I can'ttt.....

Imagine making marrying someone your life's work. And if anyone were to do so, aren't there any other candidates? Like Heera married Shashi, she could've found another bakra, surely? Maybe she wants Ramu because he's always been so easy to manipulate.

This also ties in with Bottlewater's post. It's demeaning for anyone to be so desperate and go to such lengths, but vamps are made so black, it's unbelievable. Nandini should have been left as at least someone who genuinely cared for her children. Heera could have been jealous and maybe tried making trouble, but not the way she was turned into a repulsive, desperate parasite. I haven't seen the scene Bottlewater refers to, but I can imagine it. Sadly, many find such stuff funny. There can be 1 caricature in a group, but apparently, to show how much better the fl is, most (all?) must be dumbed down. Our films and TV shows need to get over this kind of nonsense in the name of comedy.

And the misrepresentation and altered narratives on bird when P told off Ram (justifiably, IMO), especially post leap, were mind boggling. I so disliked whatever I saw of Priya's letting Ram behave like a creep without calling him out at all.

Toxic men have been so rampant in itv that anyone who doesn't pull, push, scream, and constantly insult the silently suffering fl looks good in comparison. As I said, Ram's flaws and mistakes aren't my problem. My issue is those flaws/mistakes/bad behaviour not being acknowledged as such or addressed at all.

How is it that female creatives persist in trying to promote these warped ideas, with the onus always on the fl to be understanding, tolerant, and worshipful wrt the ml? I swear, give me one scene of Priya blasting the bejesus out of Ram and I'll shut up for a month.

Everyone connected to the show posts according to the cvs' instructions, IMO. That includes strategic script leaks. These people are there for damage control on a lesser scale than when NM and DP give IVs. Man, those IVs are huge markers for the sh*t to hit the fan.😆

let's change the narrative and call Ram still the hero rather than heroine. The hero who is in distress. The hero who is emotional. The hero who make mistakes . The hero who needs heroine to be saved.

Priya is the heroine. The heroine who is the saviour. The heroine who is strong. The heroine who is emotionally mature. The heroine who saves the hero everytime.

Let's change the narrative of what would potray as a hero and what would as a heroine.

Not every heroine is in damsel in distress and not every hero is the saviour.
