Top knocks

N Jagadeesan touched great heights for Tamil Nadu with a record-breaking 277 off just 141 balls as Tamil Nadu thumped Arunachal Pradesh by a monstrous margin of 435 runs. Arunachal finished with a mere 71 in a chase of 507. The game also saw Jagadeesan and TN breaking plenty of records. TN's score of 506 turned out to be the highest total in List A cricket. Jagadeesan's scintillating knock is now the highest individual score in all List A cricket. This was also Jagadeesan's fifth consecutive century in List A cricket, he is the first player to do so. The 416-run opening stand between Sai Sudharsan and Jagadeesan is now the highest partnership for any wicket in List A cricket.
