Basit really wants to leave the past behind and move on and fill his wife’s life with happiness. Already this is a big change for someone who had always found it difficult to let go of things. Who had resented his mother's abandonment for years. However the fact that he himself has behaved in ways that had hurt Ayesha has brought Basit to the realisation that if you hold on to past mistakes, it can destroy everything you cherish. Just how close he had come to losing Ayesha forever. And this should be a step towards forgiving his mother. When he tells Qudsia when she apologises that there was no point in holding on to past mistakes, maybe he will do the same with respect to his own mother's memories.

While it wasn't really shown how affected he might have been by the fact that Ayesha had willingly walked towards a moving car, ready to end her life, Basit must have realised from that incident just how sensitive Ayesha is. Which is why instead of believing her excuse and letting her go without dinner, he pulls her back the night Soha comes. So when Bano tells him that thing about putting a price to Ayesha's feelings, he must have realised that if Ayesha ever finds out, this would really hurt her.

Oh yeah this was such a delight to watch, that bitch thought she could say whatever and Basit was gonna stand there hearing her nonsense...the way he put her in her place was satisfying the least... I also loved how he referred to Bano and the fact she had never let him down so far when that bitch spoke about favoritism... The once cold Basit is long gone now and I love witnessing this change 😍

The thing is he became cold towards Soha when she said all that nonsense. Cold and professional. His warmth is all for Ayesha and her family.

AK Buzz review today once again made me laugh. They said Fahad has simply not learnt his lesson. He had already been suspected of having an affair with a woman (Ayesha) because of his habit of meeting her alone, and yet even after getting married, he is doing it all over again with Soha.

Oh and abou that swimming pool scene..their observation was, Basit ruined the pool. Why all the flowers and photos had to be dropped into the pool...one of them found all that wastage of flower petals triggering I think. And I am inclined to agree with them. For that 2 seconds scene to litter the pool like that was pointless. It would have been nicer had they gone out by the seaside or something for dinner.

I really want to see Basit deal with Soha. You can already see that while he is warm towards Ayesha and is warming up to her family as well, with Soha it is not the same. The way his face changed when Soha made that comment about him becoming too trusting with Bano showed that not only did he not like that comment, he made sure to make the point before Soha that Bano was his family now. Since he has found this love in his life now, I can only imagine how fiercely he will protect it from any kind of attack.

Soha doesn't even know Basit. She thinks the man who proposed marriage to her is who Basit is. Ayesha has seen how cold Basit was and has been the catalyst to his present transformation. Soha is seeing this caring husband version of Basit and thinks this is what he is like. But Basit has been shown to be someone who can be calculating and level-headed when it comes to protecting his business. He literally overcame his biggest fear in order to protect the business. We can only imagine what he will do to protect his love.

I’m sorry for replying late, one of my friend’s mother was hospitalised and the friend wasn’t in town, so I’ve been taking care of her mum since a few days now. Also her mum is into Pakistani shows, so she saw me watching Habs and she’s now been viewing it ever since 😆

Oh my gawd Twerps!!! This post has my heart ❤️ You’re right, one could literally see the change in Basit’s demeanour as soon as Soha mentioned that he’s gotten too frank with Bano. He sat up straighter, seemed stiff and got his point across without being outrightly rude but made sure to point out that Bano is his family.

I feel that Basit has gotten so protective over Ayesha that anybody she holds dear is inevitably under his protection. I think this feeling of protectiveness over Ayesha will increase manifold once he gets to know that she’s expecting.

You could literally see in the promo when he’s guiding Ayesha who has a blindfold on about how careful he is with her. The old Basit would’ve freaked out at the thought of becoming a father and this new Basit is throwing a party to surprise and celebrate his pregnant wife ❤️❤️❤️ So one can only imagine how strongly he would want to shield his wife during this delicate time.

I absolutely agree with you that amidst all of this, we should not forget Basit’s inherent nature. While Soha knows Basit as a charming, young and rich man who can be a caring friend and husband, Basit is not only this. He’s ambitious, a go getter and knows how to persevere. You are so right when you said that he overcame his biggest fear in order to save his business.

Basit can also be cold hearted and calculative when confronted with anything that threatens to destroy his peace of mind or happiness and Ayesha is his greatest source of happiness, his only family who will be shown to carry his child. While I would like both Basit and Ayesha to dish out the final blow to Soha but I’m more keen to see the old Basit in action.

I'm rewatching ep 26 for like the twentieth time 🤣 really can't get enough of it.... Especially that date scene has my heart... 😍

Oh my god girl!!! This is so picturesque that it looks real!! 🤩 The backdrop, Basit and Ayesha’s outfits (which are colour coordinated), the breakfast spread everything is stunning ❤️ Why do I have a feeling that this is exactly how it would’ve looked had they really gone there. Also guys we were so right about pictures being shared of the honeymoon! When Fahad was talking to Soha, he remarked that I saw the pictures on social media. I believe Basit is the one who is uploading the pictures, wonder what captions he’s using 😆

We also rightly predicted, Jawad keeping tabs on Ayet and then teaming up with Soha to reveal all office and family dynamics of Ayet’s life to her. Those two (Soha and Jawad) are a pair made in heaven though 🤣
