There were some beautiful ghazals this era & I did include some like Seene mein jalan, Huzzor iss kadar, Kisi nazar ko tera, Justjoo jiski thi etc. but missed out on some others because they didn't fit the theme (imo).

2.Zindagi jab bhi teri bazm mein laati hai humme(Umrao Jaan)-Talat aziz's best IMO

3.Chupke chupke raat din(Nikaah)-Ghulam ali saab has no match.another gem from Ghulam Ali saab is Chamakte chand ko toota hua taara bana dala(forgot name of the movie-Anil kapoor/govinda/meenakshi)

Random thoughts-can I add something?😆I hate done to death songs bole toh which are like everyone's fav and everyone goes gaga over them.I am sick of hearing them everywhere 😆 so much so that they feel over rated.some examples- ajeeb dastan hai ye,aapki nazaro ne samjha,gaata rahe mera dil 😆 I have nothing against these songs but I would rather take a break from hearing them cause the whole world seems to love them😆

Another song that I HAD added to above list was Lag jaa gale(wo kaun thhi).whenever I watched tv some tv/movie celeb was singing it in their besura voices thinking they are tansen ki aulad😡😆

but that song the way Lata ji sang it is pure magic that just doesn't fade away❤️
