Also unlike China and Korea where there is a huge market for luxury goods, India is not really there yet. Common people in India wouldnt really splurge on Gucci/LV just coz their fav actor was endorsing it. Which is not the case in China, fans actually mass buy stuff that their faves endorse. Which is absolutely NUTS! I am really glad people in India are not that crazy.

I am not one bit surprised. He has been desperate for a Gucci deal for quite some time now, like at least a couple of years. He dresses nonstop in head-to-toe Gucci on the daily. Frankly, based on what we've seen, I don't know why Gucci would ever want Ranveer.

The creative director of gucci Alessandro Michele has noticed ranveer, he has liked and commented on ranveers posts of when he has worn gucci so he has been appreciated by the brand.

And ranveer genuinely loves the brand, he loves wearing gucci head to toe. Plus gucci makes such quirky and colourful clothing that only people like ranveer and kjo wear their outfits. So in a way Ranveer is promoting gucci for the Indian audience.

And he doesn't just wear gucci, he wears alot of Louis vuitton, he wears many Indian designers, Ranveer has actually promoted many Indian designers by wearing their outfits that others would not wear

Somehow i’ve never rated Gucci very highly. But what I think of their products doesn’t matter, they are still one of the top luxury brands in the world. In a lot of ways, I have to credit Ranveer for bringing the attention back on Gucci, especially for the Indian market. He’s worn some pretty unique Gucci outfits lately and if he’s tying that in with a pitch for a Gucci endorsement, good on him.
