I just saw this post as was reading through this thread !! I totally understand any healthcare field be it medical/dental or professional/higher education puts many things in hold as I have been through that . Be it relationships or just as you mentioned vacations as you constantly have your head in your books and then once clinics/rotations start then you get busy with that because you not only hitting the books but now have to deal with clinical exams initially on mankins and then more scarier on actual live patients!! Not to digress you will get through it and then be able to enjoy and travel to those destinations you mentioned!!

I gave a sarcastic answer cuz If anyone ask me about favourite destination or holidays it pinches me in my gut😆.. Cuz It's been years I always under stress about my next exam and Medicine life has been too boring and stressful that my only goal of life always would be to live a peaceful Exams free life..(the bar has become too low after entering Medicine 😆) Not sure when I will reach that exams free stage. When I will reach that stage I can think of holidays or favourite destination. But before I die there are 2 places I would like to go if possible.. 1) Mauritius and 2) want to see all the colorful flower gardens in Japan which I come across in this insta account "1 min traveller"

Actually I love beaches and water. So I would just want God to put me in a beach every Sunday so that before I die I cover seeing all those beaches in the world.
