With the group mix unfavourable to Shaleen & Tina( in terms of majority)......their nomination was a foregone conclusion even before the task started........Shaleen played well to get 2 weak contestants in the fray to safeguard his eviction.

After 4 nomination BB stopped the task knowing fully well Clueless Ankit would be the next on the nomination list.

The task exposed the mindset of the contestants

• Soundarya, Gautam & Priyanka looked like desperate & insecure contestants
• Shalin understood the task and played on front foot
• Archana & Tina were on their own ego trip
• Ankit was clueless and was wandering around like a Sheep himself.......trying to figure out why Priyanka was doing more "Mai Mai " then the sheeps themselves.

Priyanka looked desperate, I am not sure. Even if she did the reason was because she had to save Ankit. But she did not panic. She was very much focus and played wisely.
Shaleen acted cool and looked like he played smart. But smart game would be to get Ankit.

Priyanka just grab the opportunity making alliance with Shaleen for her benefit.

The moral of the story is Priyanka was benefitted between Shaleen and Gautam’s fight.

The problem doesn't lie in the fact that she put herself & Ankit above her own team mates...and there's nothing wrong in that. It would have been fine and reasonable to be selfish had she not tried to build an image of being a good, honest and transparent person. She has been blowing her own trumpet bof being utterly selfless in relationships and there she is... ditching her own group of friends.

Naa bro, sorry but Ankit might be weak content wise but in terms of fan votes he’s not weak at all. He has a decent fan base himself and combine that with Priyanka’s enormous fan base voting for him too so no it would not be smart to target him lol

How is she ditching?

She already nominated Shaleen. Tina and Gautam were already nominated.
Now between Archana, Soundarya. Ankit and herself one has to be nominated or maybe two if there would be 5th round.

Now at this stage Ankit, Gautam and Archana could have fought back to go for nominating and not letting Tina go. But none wanted to look bad as they have to nominate their own. So everyone backed off letting Tina go.

Gautam and Soundarya were not in good terms with Shaleen and Tina. So they did not even request to not get nominated. Shaleen came to convince Priyanka to give Tina chance. So she grab the opportunity to make sure She and Ankit are not getting nominated by Tina.

Did you expect Priyanka to agree to send Tina knowing that she or Ankit would get nominated?

At this point in the game, you still need allies. If Gautum or Soundhary leave, it lessens numbers in her group.

Shalin and Priyanka both used their brains - Shalin by making sure the weakest contestants were nominated with him, Priyanka by letting Tina and Shalin choose a contestant to be eliminated and striking a deal with them that they won’t nominate Ankit or herself.

I think they both played with a calm head. Priyanka not just saved herself and Ankit, but now she can claim to be fair, and Shalin and Tina owe her one

I don’t think she got played. After Salman one on one session she got little cautious.
Whatever Shaleen wanted did not matter to Priyanka. She wanted to make sure that herself and Ankit are safe . She made sure Shaleen and Tina got nominated before striking a deal with Shaleen to support Tina going for a vote in return not to nominate her/Ankit.

Priyanka played her game grabbing the opportunity that came front of her to be safe.

If you read my post Archana, Gautam and Soundarya are close to each other. Chances are Ankit could have been nominated.

Eviction does not always happen on votes, but content also. What if voting lines are closed and housemates will vote for eviction. Why would Priyanka take a chance?

Priyanka did not get played. She was focused on the task and fully aware of the situation. Shaleen and Tina could have nominated Priyanka and Ankit. She took a bold decision by trusting Shaleen/Tina in second/ fourth round. It all played in her favor.

Priyanka ❤️ was awesome 👏 in that task. 🥳
