Apart from the mythology, another thing I absolutely love about Greece is films by Costa Gavras. Couldn't stop thinking about "Z" after I watched it. And then recently the film "Adults in the Room"...ouff! ❤️

Khani is a much much better toxic love story ..I won't call it toxic , I don't find it toxic..at.least there is a one sided love story with great arc of the hero ..there is progress , there is redemption as the show progresses..the heroine is also a fighter ..its one of the best shows in terms of execution. Ishquia bhi kinda loses steam after 18-19 epis ..same problem , they started dragging it with irrelevant scenes n ended it horribly ..but khani wasn't like that.. I didn't see the end coz I couldn't see the hero suffering that much 😆

I have been hearing better reviews of ktk but I don't understand how the hero was so much obsessed with just a glance of the heroine ..plus he changed not bec of love but bec he realized his family is toxic..its a great paradox 😆 He himself was like that infact worse , God knows why he was so surprised to discover something that was in front of him always. Senseless story hai ekdum , but it's super hit..

Gosh I love Khaani so much. Mir Hadi's behavior was so toxic and psychotic but that's exactly what drew me in... The way FK nailed this role... And Sana was amazing as well... Also that ost 👌😍 I'm probably rewatching some time ❤️

Which Thai Lakorn is this? oh the one where this girl accidentally results in the death of the fiance of this rich man who then finds her and takes revenge by pretending to fall in love and marrying her? I think I have seen it and precisely for the same reason.

Secret Love is a show I watched more than once. It is toxic but also the balance is so fine that unlike lakorns, it never makes you cringe. That scene where she crosses the street, the car hits her and then she gets up and walks on like nothing happened! Ouffffff!! I sometimes dig up that scene...just that scene. Also I loved the burn scar she got....like you see a brutal unmistakable physical manifestation of the devastation wrecked on her by these two men in her life...one claiming to love her and the other hating her. I think there is a Turkish drama as well based on the same show. Meryem.

Khaani is proper intense. FK in it is phenomenal. That first episode where he kills the brother.. I was totally unprepared for it and it was chilling to the bones. What a performance!

I ask myself the same question everyday 😆 What's wrong with me

There's this debate going on abt how these shows r unrealistic and such men never change..but wth ! It's a story and story is meant to be larger than life , positive and supposed to give feels. It's supposed to give hope . That love and goodness can change people . Firstly they need not show the other party as bechara /becharis. They can also fight back (what's the harm in showing that now ?) , just as khani fought back with all her strength . But they always keep it one sided. Indian shows were better in terms of characterizing gray characters. Some of these stories r my all time favs. .

Watched the promo of tonight's episode again and really not looking forward to it. Soha bossing around Basit's office (what on earth for?) and talking condescendingly to Bano (why should Bano stand up and greet her ?? She's not her boss), Fahad sharing secrets of his so-called best friend with his new best friend Soha😆 It almost feels like he wants to get his revenge on Basit for suspecting him of having an affair with Ayesha.

Soha looking angry when Jawad tells her Basit has gone on his honeymoon and not a business trip😆 Wtf she turned him down, she has no business to feel angry now.

None of it makes any sense. Character butchering to the hilt. Same old clichés of misunderstandings and scheming friends who pretend to want the best for you but are actually working against you.

The show became an utter mess... I still haven't watched this week's episode but I'm not even looking forward to watch... I'll just read your comments to save myself from another disappointment 😂
