Dubai is definitely not a honeymoon destination but I guess the makers have to consider the budget of the show. Pakistani dramas and industry people do prefer Dubai I guess because of its proximity as well as its poshness.

Anyway the idea of Basit and Ayesha in the Mediterranean or the Caribbean seems surreal. I somehow imagined them in Europe, perhaps doing Turkey and Greece or the Eastern part of Europe visiting Prague, Budapest and Croatia. There are so many hidden gems in Europe.

I've just imagined them in Santorini our most famous island for newlyweds and couples with the most beautiful sunset ever 😍 I mean just the kind of scenery we would get from Greek islands is crazy... And Turkey as well... Never been there but from what I've seen is indeed a wonderful country 🥰 Prague, Budapest etc are still beautiful but maybe not much romantic destinations 👌

Have you watched this kdrama called Secret Love? That is a major angsty toxic concoction and one I have watched more than once. You can call it a korean version of a lakorn.

One of my favourite Pak drama on-screen couples Balaj and Hooriya (from Malal-e-Yaar) also start out toxic but it packs enough punch to get you hooked. In KTK the main problem is not only is the hero toxic, but the heroine is a leaking bag of tears. She does nothing other than look pitiful and cry for the most part. At present, according to reports the hero is a changed man but I want my woman to be a hard hitter in such toxic set-ups.

So I watched Malala e Yaar and Balaj and Hooriya (the lead couple) are dreamy. I also love how the female lead is such a strong character and they maintain that right till the end! Also the show has one of the best OSTs ever.

As for KTK, I hated it initially but the show has become better in the recent episodes, also it is very fast paced which is something I appreciate. The female lead could have definitely been written better though.

Heyyyyy!!! You watched Malal e Yaar too?!!!! I love that show! hehe...btw I am also sort of writing a fanfic on the show...it is not a continuous story but rather focuses on moments from their various encounters... have you read it?

KTK I tried watching but it is too over the top. did you see the viral clip from the show where it was said this is how Pakistani dramas show phone sex??

Ah! Khani is a much much better toxic love story ..I won't call it toxic , I don't find it toxic..at.least there is a one sided love story with great arc of the hero ..there is progress , there is redemption as the show progresses..the heroine is also a fighter ..its one of the best shows in terms of execution. Ishquia bhi kinda loses steam after 18-19 epis ..same problem , they started dragging it with irrelevant scenes n ended it horribly ..but khani wasn't like that.. I didn't see the end coz I couldn't see the hero suffering that much 😆

I have been hearing better reviews of ktk but I don't understand how the hero was so much obsessed with just a glance of the heroine ..plus he changed not bec of love but bec he realized his family is toxic..its a great paradox 😆 He himself was like that infact worse , God knows why he was so surprised to discover something that was in front of him always. Senseless story hai ekdum , but it's super hit..

During the previous misunderstanding between Basit and Ayesha, Fahad had created trouble by keeping his mouth shut instead of telling Basit what the matter was with Ayesha. This time he is going to create trouble by speaking too much and spilling everything to Soha.
