Yes. Look at the talented actors like Srikanth who never got to break into the superstardom despite having everything it takes. And so is Ravi Teja who is light years better than Bala Krishna,Venkatesh and Nagarjuna in every aspect.

oh yeah the Rajkumar love did take the Kannada industry down for a good two decades. But good that they are picking up now.

See all the 4 industries are so different from each other which is why it’s quite amusing when they all get clubbed together as one industry by some of the ignorant North Indian people who refuse to even acknowledge that there are 5 different states in the south India, let alone educating themselves about the 4 different movie industries which are thriving multi million dollar industries on their own.

which is why when ppl say south stars are humble, they are not, they are just connected enough to their fans, native place etc to know how to behave, dress or respond in various situations so it is appropriateness not humbleness but more a sense of behaving according to your surroundings and ppl and knowing what is expected and responding accordingly

Poor Chinmayi keeps ranting but people be getting back to the groove. Karthik is also trying to do something and won't be surprised if Vairamuthu bounces back too, actually industry was ready to give him a chance but it was sheer pressure that made MR - ARR drop him from PS-1, so may be he is gone for good.

I really like reading here about what all write about south Indian movies and what happened/happens in the Telugu filmindustry (also the political background is interesting as Andhra Pradesh was, I think, the first Indian state formed because of the common Telugu language).

Thanks, I am not from India and just like any other foreigner, I used to think that all south industries are same, and i used to think Arjun is a Tamilian, as I watched most his hindi dubbed movies, in sony max.

But over the years, I learnt that he is a mega kid and the Telugu industry is a different entity. I like how he has fans outside south and most south stars have that, I have colleague from Kerala and they all tell me stories of Mallu Arjun and other Malyali stars, and that fascinates me because apparently in Kerala Arjun is known as adopted son, i do not know what that means though 😆

I personally think every movie industry has politics, nepotism, favoritism and whatever conspiracy theories we can come up with, so yeah the debates can go longer than we imagine and especially people who belong to those states know it better

Coming back to Bunny movies, one of his best performances came in a supporting-cameo role in a female centric movie called Rudramadevi, he played the prince gonna gaana reddy and his monologue from that movie is iconic. If you want to have a 100 percent entertaining watch, then Race gurram is your typical hero centric mass-comedy, I love that movie, it is so entertaining that I am surprised BW has not copied that yet. Allu Arjun does not have a flop in his whole career, barring 1-2 films, he has the dream success ratio and one can argue that he was given good directors and musicians, but well, those are still hypothetical, the combos are known to be big, and I am glad he delivers every time he is expected to. His best combos are with TriVikram (Julayi, Son of Satya murthi, Ala Vaikuntapurmalo). I suggest you watch these movies, they are high on entertainment.

In Tamil industry I have mostly watched Dhanush and Vikram, they are amazing. I remember i cried buckets watching 3 and mayakkam enna, and even I. try watching them too, they are great movies. I do not like Rajnikanth movies, but Kamal hassan movies are great, ohh god I cried so much watching the climax of Sadma, that even those vague flashes breaks my heart 🥺

But whenever i see Dhanush, Arjun, Charan or even Prabhas, Rajamouli interviews, they are so gentle and nice, they always give super cool and kind vibes, if everything is their way of dealing things around then they definitely are born with the talent of capturing people's attention, otherwise these BW nepos, after 2-3 years talk rubbish and lame stupid stuffs, they lose their marbles. 🤣

To those who do not understand: Ashwinidutt was the producer of the debut movies of Mahesh, Allu Arjun, and Charan. He says he was looking at casting Prabhas for Student No 1, but a call from Hari Krishna made him change his mind.

Jr NTR's debut was also on Usha Kiran Movies which then was going through a high phase with Chithram and Nuvve Kavali's extraordinary success. The director's previous outing was the blockbuster Nuvvu Vasthavani. People don't remember or don't care because no one, in general, believed in Jr NTR at that point. Things did change with just one film, though. When Student No 1 arrived everyone knew he was/is the real deal, the true heir. He was better than Balakrishna.

i dont mean it is a pretence but defintely the way they behave shows they have awareness and some empathy though they maybe arrogant otherwise, maybe a srk to some extent is that

dhanush and rajamouli have seen hard times, even charan and arjun lived lower middle class till school maybe

also they are more connected to their native villages, relatives who are not from the industry etc which will give them perspective

also education at college level can expose you to ppl of varied backgrounds, if you study in ambani school and drop out you will be in your bubble

the nepo kids are not, i was shocked at the way they behave with their help in the bollywood wives shows, it is like they have no awareness of them being human or from poor backgrounds when they flaunt in front of them

one may say it is a show but i have seen in real too, one lady (not film industry) from bombay who moved to chennai told me that parties in tn are giving gas stove, tv etc to poor ppl and spoiling them as they will now demand high salary to get cylinder etc while those in bombay dont have them so will work for low salary
