I think there will be some confusion in the upcoming episodes. Abhi will ask Dev did you like Vidhi's idea of marriage and Dev will say yes thinking that he knows about Vidhi's feelings (as in yes to marriage with Vidhi). However, Abhi will think Dev said yes to Amba. That's just my take!

Dev is very clear in his mind
He knows someone ask her to say marry Amba. So I do not think they will add one more confusion to it.
Leads talk directly. He needs to confess as well before anything gets finalized. If writer after building love story diverts in this direction they will lose then grip on the show.
