I don't think anyone finds Chris Evans ugly, they're just not sure he fits the bill of sexiest man alive but there are really only a handful of men who could fit that superlative. That being said, Chris Evans is one of the stronger choices from all the previous winners. A lot of the winners are whoever was big in Hollywood at the time or whoever Hollywood wanted to promote, which you can tell because they would have no other reason being on the cover.

I want to mention this topic was not about Chris Evans, twas just a general question

(He is a good looking guy, no doubt)

I haven't seen much of his work, don't know anything about his personal life or opinions or activism, that is until googled about him just now

Nonetheless, he is Mr India - Universe 2019, even if he's not the first

SO I wanted to see if people demanding South Asian SMAs found him even remotely attarctive

cz there is also a Mr World from India, Rohit Khandelwal, but no body talks about it, didn't get any movie offers

So even when Indian men get recognition people hardly remember them unless it's an US magazine cover

although these competitions are much harder

And Mel Gibson was chosen in 1985. He was the first ever

The world learned of his trashy side much much later in 2006, and although that Wynona incident hapened 1996 she only told the world in 2010

So the people of 'People' cannot be blamed here, I am sure if they had known he would've only be chosen as the ugliest man alive

Anti zionism /= Anti semitism (though both can overlap)

Mel Gibson has a longer record of antisemitism than Kanye but Kanye has a bigger reach so Kanye being antisemite seems to be having bigger impact(atleast from what I have seen).
