Ishwari, the actress was too good. Her husband died and she raised the kids doing small jobs. The daughter took care of younger kids and son gotto study and then become a business man. She was selfish when it comes to her son but still very relatable, she makes you feel for her. In IKNMP, I am a fan of ML. He had a personality, kids respected him. In Appnapan, ML character was week,playing stupid games and taking care of his sali who broke up their marriage. FL was written too Mahan for my liking. Nobody was thinking abt kids not even KD. Leena was a really bad casting,looked too young to be maasi of grown up kids. Whole plot was stupid.
@bold- She didn't even look convincing as obsessed lover of Nik. She didn't match match wid Cezra.
@red- though Iknmp was realistic in nature but Appnapan started wid more convincing and realistic approach. Kids holding grudge for other set of parent and siblings was justified which was not the case in Iknmp (except Ranbir) where kids didn't complaint about absence of other parent and they were so happy on meeting other set of sibling.
But as the story progressed, Appnapan drifted from reality and turned into overdramatic series.
FL ragini was more or less the same throughout the series whereas Pallavi appeared confused and Gave mixed signals regarding her characterisation. It kept on changing...
Initially I liked Nik more than Neil cz he wasn't completely emotionless, but as the story progressed, Nik was transformed from smart businessman to dumb Jiju.
Iknmp ran for 218 episodes and had various tracks and was watchable enjoyable till the last (minus Shilpa's death track) but Appnapan started dwindling after 50-55 episodes.
No matter what, I love NikvI more than Neira though NikvI/ Cezra weren't given a strong story/ script yet they managed to give their best wid little they had in hand..
