So here’s the full story..

2.5 years ago we were introduced through a common friend and we texted few times and after that he told me he’s romantically odd so he doesn’t see anything happening between us. I was like okay. I unfollowed him from my social media too.

2.5 years later, like two months ago he followed me and texted me, he started showing interest and gave me attention and after few days took my cell phone number, we started getting to know each other over texts and call. Then we met, it was just after my birthday so he brought gifts for me too. After that we bonded better, and things continued well, god conversations and all.

Last week the last thing he texted me was he cooked a delicious dinner for himself to which I replied with a general delicious and yummy comment. After that he just stopped texting or calling, it’s a week now?

I mean what’s this behavior? We didn’t even fight, nothing happened, he just stopped contacting. If he’s expecting me to contact then I’m not doing it, he was the one to approach, he should have been more responsible. I’m very very annoyed right now.

So I’ve called him and asked him, he told me that he was confused and thought we are not compatible and he doesn’t find chemistry with me, he didn’t know how he would tell me so he stopped contacting me.

I’ve realized, I’m dumb and extremely dumb actually because there’s no other explanation to the way I got treated. Anyways, guys thank You so much for all your suggestions. It helped through these few days of mind blogging confusion and annoyance.

Maybe .. but he just told me sth which completely ruined my day .. he told me ‘you love Phoebe so much, but I find her nasty and I don’t think we have any common ground even outside this normal likes dislikes’

So the bold part is basically the explanation for most of the cases where guys suddenly back off (that they find no chemistry, no sparks and all). I'm glad that you’ve communicated with him and found out that answer and now all the confusions are clear. And no, you are not dumb in any way for how he treated you. If anyone is dumb, then it's him for treating you like that. You did the smart thing that you communicated.

Since that you’ve gotten all your closure so it's time for you to totally walk away from him. Coz lingering on such guys are never gonna change them, in fact quite the contrary happens. So cut him out from everywhere. Then give yourself time to heal, spend time with yourself more and more, do meditate and read books, spend time with your loved ones who truly care for you. Lift up your self-esteem again.

Trust me, life is beautiful, it's just we ourselves who make the life so complicated by keeping such non-deserving people inside our head for longer than they deserve. But sooner or later we realize what's worthy for us and what's not, and then we start enjoying our life again. Hope that happens for you too. Hugs.🤗
