how do you know? what's commonwealth? i have heard about olympics only

hmm i follow news not just entertainment and cricket, that is how i know and the news about commonwealth games were all over not 3 months ago.

Also this particular news about nikhat zareen's tweet is in all newpapers even pinkvilla which i think where most of the people get news from these days.

About commonwealth games i think there is a whole wikipedia page which I am sure you can read and they started in 1930 not something new.

Not trying to be bitchy or anything but it just breaks my heart that people dont recognize female/male athletes, even those who have achieved something for the country.

I can understand your emotions. It's just that members here are Bollywood oriented. They hardly have any idea about general knowledge, current affairs and sports. If possible, don't take it to heart.
