Finally watched the double episodes.😃 I just loved Basit. ❤️I know sometimes he lose control, but he realizes his mistakes and tries to pasify Ayesha.

I loved how he replied those greedy ppl who came to see Zoya. 😈 Comparing them to beggers made my day. Sadly Zoya is so stupid to stay away from such ppl, and she is going to learn from her mistakes. 😒

Finally Bano will work for Basit. I know many ppl may not like it, but I think Ayesha is over reacting.😔 What is wrong if a husband asked his wife to not do a job? 😕

Nothing Wrong if she does a job anyways coz it's her wish ..girls must be.independent , plus , ayesha has the resources so if she is passionate abt working she must..

Basit was too good with Aamir bhai. What Zoya didn't see in so many months , he saw in 5 mins n uski aukat sahi se judge kardi. What I don't like is ayesha and bano siding with Zoya.. just bec girls r desperate to marry doesn't mean kisi se bhi

@bold This is the crux of the matter...there is nothing wrong with a girl either doing a job or not doing a job after marriage...however, it should be her decision. Basit's unwillingness to take Ayesha's need to work seriously is where the conflict grew out of. But when he heard Zoya's rant, I think he sort of understands why Ayesha was so desperate to start working again. Even as Zoya is shouting at them, when she says, "pata bhi hai yeh ghar chal raha bhi hai ya nahi", his eyes turn to Ayesha.

The thing about Bano and Ayesha convincing their mom to meet Amir's parents was not because they are desperate to have Zoya married off...but rather they are seeing that Zoya has already stooped to stealing because of Amir. They don't want the girl to cross all limits in her rebellion against the family.

Her only reason to have a job is to support her family finanicially. And Basit thinks that she needn't do a small job to help them. He has a position in the society, what will ppl think of him, when they see his wife working as a secretary? A wife has to keep her husband's izzat and ihtiram in front of everyone. She has to obay him.. this is what we learn from our religion.

I am a working woman. But I put is as a shart in my nikahnama . Ayesha was in a hurry, she could've made it clear to him that she'll have a job after marriage.

I think they convinced and pushed Qudsia on this so at least one of them ends up with someone of their own choice, who are in love and companions. So at least one of them wont feel lonely and helpless and so stuck like Bano and Ayeshma. If we cannot have it, let the baby have it at least.

Guys, I was wondering if you guys noticed this moment from Ep 1...it is such a sweet and endearing moment and they show it in a way that does not offend the censor laws either. Basit before sitting down on the couch, reaching out and placing a kiss on his father's forehead or cheek perhaps. ❤️

A couple should discuss about their wishes and jobs before marriage. Ayesha Omar (forgot her screen name) took her time to understand Basit and make it clear that she has her life. Ayesha (Ushnah) didn't discuss anything. After marriage a wife isn't free to do what she wants. Islamic rules say that she shouldn't go out of her house without taking approval from her husband. A husband is responsible of his wife.

Here Ayesha would've been more settled down had he accepted their marriage, and made her feel like a life partner.. but it is clear that Basit doesn't know about feelings and relationships.. if he wants her to obay him, he should've behaved like a real husband..

Yes, but Ayesha and Basit's marriage was not a normal one. It was rushed, a lot of things were assumed by both parties. Ayesha was assured by Basit that she would be able to continue working after marriage. He clearly told her you will not have to leave your job. And we see how they were prevented from having a full discussion by the arrival of Bobby phupho and Zoya.

Basit too had assumed that Ayesha would remain that docile girl she had been while working as his P.A.

Soha's approach to marriage was a normal one.
