Exactly this is what is annoying . He is still behaving well with soha , When she is all over him, trying to act coy. Ab itna bhi munna nai hai basit . Total character butchering . I will watch it once but never again .

I have no faith in the writers. Sometimes they come up with something so intelligent other times make them act so idiotic that you wanna throw something at the TV 😆So ayesha can go either ways with soha truth and 75 lakh truth..I'll put the money on soha truth. Ayesha will shut her mouth and soha will be gone forever 😆

I had this problem when out of nowhere ayesha and fahad became BFFs and same goes for Soha and basit. Arre bhai how come she has become your best friend, you hadn't even liked her to begin with.

Once show will end I'll only watch ayet scenes again...

I remember he proposed for marriage only. It was greedy qudsia who demanded money for the house.

She just saw a rich guy and pounced on opportunity. She didn't even bother to do a background check of the guy.

So I really hope rather than misunderstanding basit, ayesha will see the true colors of her mom..

Very true girl. Ayesha has not confessed her love for Basit yet. Perhaps it is shyness that has held her back. And this is why I feel Basit is also teasingly trying to get her to more vocally express her love for him. As for the reassurance, isn't it something all people in love need? But specifically if we are to think of Basit's past and the way it has affected his personality, I think he needs that assurance because somewhere within he has been starved of affection. Even with Fahad it has been shown how he is often quite demanding and almost clingy in terms of his demand on Fahad's time and attention. With Ayesha that would be tenfold. His closeness to Soha is possibly because he had been abandoned by Fahad as well as Ayesha at that time. While claiming he doesn't need human warmth and companionship, Basit actually craves it. Till his dad was alive, he had thought he needed no one because his dad was such a source of love and support in his life. With time, as he got used to Ayesha in his life, fell in love with her and his mother's death, Basit has in some ways realised he needs that show of affection. His anger at Ayesha possibly had made him think he was fine alone, but we saw that he really wasn't. At the hospital, there are only two times that he voices protest at Ayesha caring for him, when she is trying to adjust the bed and when she feeds him for the first time. But even there he was moved by how she was there beside him at any point he regained consciousness. And now that he has her back, I think he wants Ayesha to be as openly loving as she can be towards him. He is thriving in her love and the love he feels for her.

Jawad would be like, boss turned out to be smoother than even I could imagine! Bano would be fighting hard to keep the grin off her face. So much for keeping personal affairs out of the workplace. As for other people, they will be like Shaadi mubarak Sir but you turned out to be a proper businessman. Did not invite a single one of us to your wedding dinner... Only Hamza got to taste that biriyani and only because boss had needed that envelope. Now that boss is all lovey-dovey, he should spread the happiness by treating us all to a proper meal.

And Ayesha before marriage...if she saw Basit now, she would be like, you scolded me for not attending your call in that split second I had got a call from home. And now you are spending precious office hours chatting with your wife! If only we could recall who it was who had said oh so very sharply, "aap office phone pe baat karne ke liye aate hain?"

Also another thing about Ayesha not voicing her love for Basit...she comes from a family where no one voices their love for each other. I cannot imagine Qudsia ever talking about her love for her husband. On the contrary, Basit's father openly told him about his love for his wife as well as for Basit. So while Basit was averse to the idea of marriage and romantic relationships, in his father he had seen a very loving husband who, unfortunately (in Basit's eyes) had been abandoned by his wife.
