As for Chithra's ask, I hope Dev also speaks his mind about his marriage to Amba. He is a grown up man and his mom shouldn't talk on his behalf this time. I really hope that along with Satyavati, Dev also gives a clear message to Chithra and not worry about his sister's feelings. I'm sure Dev would know that Amba has brain washed her with the idea and she isn't capable of coming up with this idea on her own. Sigh..some things just makes me mad!! 😆

I really hope this happens, He needs to tell her marriage is not something you can just ask, it is a commitment and two people involved need to have a compatibility and choices should be theirs and no third person should be involved. it is not like buying a hotel or business.

yeh mere liye do this or do this for your brother etc blackmailing or emotional manipulation on any kind of relation is very common in India and I hate it.

Bheeshma doesn't get death as punishment because he didn't marry Amba. Mahabharat battle is about right winning over wrong, not anybody's individual battle..... not even Draupadi's...... Bheeshma forgoes his duty as the prince of Hastinapur and ties himself to an oath which makes him a great individual but builds complexities for Hastinapur.

After returning from Shalva, Amba wanted to marry Devavrat out of spite and hurt ego rather than any love. There is no sacrifice or tyaag in her story. There's only spite and revenge.

Perhaps that's what Amba will show soon.

yes. it was pure revenge. also when she did tapsya she was told she can not have var to kill bhishm as he has isscha mrityu vardaan. so he can not get killed. you will have to reborn. that's why she comes in next birth as SHikhandi.

And 100 percent agreed at what you said about Mahabharata. As it is we have terribly skewed and false information about these epics thanks to make and remake and then some more remakes of Them without much research. Mahabharat is one complex epic and so is Amba and Devavrat’s story. There was no need of that reference here even in muted tones.
There are severe austerities that Amba practiced to reach that goal of being the reason of Devratas death but no sacrifice, no love and no self awareness either.

how come makers do not know story of mahaabharata.

school mein hi grade 5 mein they teach you

if not it was serial twice. ran on doordarshan and the Star Plus had it remake.

so makers can not get away that they did not know mahaabharat story and they all are born in India they are not NRI.

if they do not then its shame and in fact it is not an excuse so before putting story behind research it.

they just can not twist the facts for their own good which is what they did

1. HP aska Vidhi kaun kar sakta hai tuje pareshan, and agar ye sab nahi theek hua to kuch kada uthana padega.

2 Vidhi to Milapini maa... Amba ke baare nahi bata sakti, bataungi to Dev sir ke liye apni feelings ko bhi batana padega. Aur Dev sir ko bhi nahi bata sakti nahi to papa se pahle wo bahut bada kadam utha lenge.

Also Bimla shows HP the earring Arjun gave and she convinces him to consider Kanika's proposal.

3 .Vidhi ne Amba ko dress lautayi aur 2 mahine wali dhamki to thi hi nahi (jitna ff karke dekha maine.. agar hogi to fir dubara dekh ke update karti hu)

4. Dev chitra ko mana karta hai abt Amba's proposal. Chitra gets adamant.

5. Next day Vidhi goes to office and one girl congrats her abt poste, and Vidhi also overhears people talking abt how HP must be having hard time with all the things happening.

6. Vidhi comes back home and give resignation letter to HP.

This is what I was saying. I hate such blackmailing. Pyaar ko prove karo aur mere liye yeh karo.
let her die. Some one should have told her do whatever you like. So Chaitra kuch na karne is liye would he marry Amba knowing how she is. Coz If that’s what Chaitra wants. She is dev ki sister so why not understand his feeling and know his opinion. But no. Also how dev marrying Amba or not gonna have impact on chitra’s life
