I've replayed it like twenty times since yesterday 😭😂 But yeah the phone call was cuteness overload as well... The way he called her Mrs in a sense that she's now his Mrs, his wife and complained about her not missing him as much as he did had me dead... God he's such a husband material and I also think Basit has now overcome his fears and hesitation over expressing his real feelings... He learned his lesson I guess...

Also the way they both are openly talking about their feelings....just as Basit is expressing his need for Ayesha to show her love for him, Ayesha also told him the things that did not sit well with her. When he mentioned her not missing him while she was at her mother's place, she tells him she wants to forget that whole episode. They are communicating like normal people for the first time!

I think Basit not mentioning the fact he was engaged to Soha at a point in the past was a deliberate hiding of the truth. He saw that Ayesha was insecure about Soha at the wedding. Then that whole overhearing bit nearly got her killed. He is very happy to bury that whole thing and simply move on. He must be thinking that if Ayesha hears about the engagement, she will not take it well. He noticed Ayesha's restlessness when he was talking to Soha and gave this pretty long-winded explanation as to how he and Soha were friends.

Could be though I also get the feeling that he never really thought of Soha as his ex gf so what's the use of mentioning their prior engagement anyway... And yes Ayesha needs to become more confident and stop comparing herself to Soha which leads her to actually underestimate herself... I think she still feels she's not good enough for Basit, her insecurities are still evident and Soha's presence just keeps making things worse...

Basit thinking Soha is his friend is itself a very weird thing. He barely knew her before he met her to get engaged to save his inheritance. He didn't even like her though he was forced to get engaged to her. He clearly said she was not his type.

And now he is facing a potential conflict with his wife over Soha's presence in his life. Don't know how he will handle it. I really hope he makes sure to make Ayesha feel secure in his love for her and sees to it that Soha isn't able to hurt Ayesha in any way. I believe he just respects her because she is the daughter of his father's friend, that's the only logical explanation I can think of.. I think till now we have seen Ayesha take care of Basit's trauma and now we shall hopefully get to see Basit take care of Ayesha's insecurities instead of finding them amusing as he had at Fahad's wedding. Promo is making me very very hopeful. I am looking forward to more Ayet heart-to-heart conversations. Did you notice, in the pool along with flower petals, there were also print out pictures of Ayesha and Basit together, from their marriage. Basit is really pulling out all stops to make Ayesha feel special.

Yessss so true... The way they're both smiling during that phone call is low-key adorable... And yeah I also feel he still has complaints from Ayesha like the moment he told her she wasn't missing him at all... Maybe he thinks that he's the only one who has been taking steps towards Ayesha whereas she was always hesitant and held back

Yeah him sharing those things about Ayesha's family was done in a moment of weakness, I thought. It was very unlike the Basit we had known who was so reserved before most people. But perhaps the loss of Fahad and the possible rejection from Ayesha made him open up to Soha who was also prodding at him to open up. During the restaurant scene, when Soha brought up the bit about him calling Ayesha's mom greedy (which excuse me, was never something he said, get your editing in order Habs team!), Basit promptly changed the subject. He was not comfortable discussing it before Ayesha perhaps but also maybe something he doesn't want to go into anymore. Soha very astutely immediately gets it that he is not liking her talking about his personal life and brings up the financial issues she wants to discuss with him.

Ayesha's self-esteem has already received a boost where she is now confident enough to call him when he is pretending to be asleep. 😆That bed scene was too cute. She was in such a cute teasing mood. The way she nodded her head, the way she was smiling, it all showed that she was now at ease before Basit. And Basit has a teasing streak in him too. It came out for the first time when she was angrily returning with him from her mom's place. And now it has become stronger. The guy can be so cute when he wants to be.

I noticed and that promo had me squealing 😍 also that ring..... 👏 Everything about the upcoming episode's promo is exciting (I just hope Soha doesn't ruin everything) Another thing I'd really want to see is Ayet going on a honeymoon... Just imagine them together in a breathtaking scenery being lovey-dovey away from people's negativity... Actually, if you remember the balcony scene when he told her he has many plans for the two of them, a trip is one of the first things that came in my mind... I wish they could show us something like that 😍

Oh yess! A honeymoon would be lovely! Though don't have too much hope in that score since tv dramas possibly won't have budget for that kind of outdoor shoot.
