This is the most romantic phone call I’ve seen ever.

I can’t help but recall that scene where he called up from office to ask for his hard drive to now when he calls to wish her good morning because he couldn’t do so in person. I think this Basit is not shy about articulating his feelings for his wife. However, the use of “Mrs”, was so unexpected from someone like him that I squealed!! 🤗 He called her Mrs. twice in the last episode which means he likes her being his “Mrs.”, he’s thinking of her as his own now.

Tell me about it... I was giggling throughout the whole episode 🤣 though my favorite scene was the one in the restaurant... I've replayed it like twenty times since yesterday 😭😂 But yeah the phone call was cuteness overload as well... The way he called her Mrs in a sense that she's now his Mrs, his wife and complained about her not missing him as much as he did had me dead... God he's such a husband material and I also think Basit has now overcome his fears and hesitation over expressing his real feelings... He learned his lesson I guess...

I will agree with Krinya on this issue here. She never wanted to work for working...it was always a means to an end. Even when Basit gave her money for her family, she did say to Sadia that she cannot accept the money as she didn't feel she has any right on Basit as her wife. So, she didn't have any right on his money as well. That problem is now solved.

She will once again think about working when her insecurities come to the fore due to Soha. She might feel Basit is interested or more engaged with Soha because they can talk about business. And she will want a part in that. Or, she might feel Soha carries herself with such confidence because of her working background, so she will want to experience that for herself. We will have to wait and see how the makers conclude this track.

I love Dil Dhadakne Do. It is one of the finer movies made in recent years. And that scene of Farhan Akhtar is a true gem.❤️

But I do not think it applies to Basit over here. While he did act like a true jerk towards Ayesha when he fired her, I do recognize he had valid reasons. Unfortunately, Ayesha lacks the required qualification to work a prestigious job, and her being a mere secretary to him or his peers wouldn't be a good look for his image. But the guy is bad at talking out his feelings (at least he used to be) and he handled the matter very very badly. Hope this around, he does better.

Yess..of course Ayesha is happy right now. Ayet are finally in the honeymoon stage and it is pure bliss to watch them.

But next week I think Ayesha's insecurities will be tested when faced with Soha. Also will she find out that Basit was engaged to Soha? How will she react to that? Since that would possibly bring her in a state where she compares herself with Soha. And this is where her buried ambitions and dreams will haunt her again. Her happiness now is because this man she loved and who she thought did not care tuppence for her has told her he is in mohabbat with her. That balcony scene was ❤️ Him calling her Mrs Basit was ❤️

Him calling her from work ❤️His obvious being into her when they meet for lunch ❤️ And the more she sees Basit's love for her, the more confident she will become about their relationship.

I don't think Ayesha did this deliberately. The girl doesn't yet know the power she holds. She just wanted to ignore Soha completely and was passing time doing her own thing. Hence, the lipstick and the drumming of her fingers. She was just waiting for the call to end without realizing the effect she has her on smitten husband. I doubt Basit remembers a word he said to Soha...he was completely lost🤣

On a side note, do you guys think Basit deliberately hid the fact that Soha used to be his fiancee? Or is it so insignificant to him that he didn't think it should be mentioned? I feel like this will come back to bite him later on. You do not say your ex-fiancee is just a family friend....that is a clear misdirection. Even if he doesn't realize it😆

I think Basit not mentioning the fact he was engaged to Soha at a point in the past was a deliberate hiding of the truth. He saw that Ayesha was insecure about Soha at the wedding. Then that whole overhearing bit nearly got her killed. He is very happy to bury that whole thing and simply move on. He must be thinking that if Ayesha hears about the engagement, she will not take it well. He noticed Ayesha's restlessness when he was talking to Soha and gave this pretty long-winded explanation as to how he and Soha were friends.

Basit thinking Soha is his friend is itself a very weird thing. He barely knew her before he met her to get engaged to save his inheritance. He didn't even like her though he was forced to get engaged to her. He clearly said she was not his type.

And now he is facing a potential conflict with his wife over Soha's presence in his life. Don't know how he will handle it. I really hope he makes sure to make Ayesha feel secure in his love for her and sees to it that Soha isn't able to hurt Ayesha in any way. Because Ayesha is coming across as quite vulnerable when it comes to Soha.

I think he wanted something like this with Ayesha right from the time they spent at the hospital. That stay had allowed him to spend time with Ayesha in a way he had never before and he had fallen in love with what that entailed. When she had told him that thoughts of competing with his rivals in business will hasten his recovery, he had said, he was done with these races. Whatever he had was enough. And then later when she said that his feeling suffocated at the hospital was because his busy routine had been disturbed, he said, I had been so busy that I could never give you any time. He had wanted to devote more time to Ayesha and now that he has expressed his love for her, there is nothing holding him back anymore.

Seriously both their faces during the phone call was such a delight to watch! Love Feroze_addict's edit poster where she includes that moment. I think he has been carrying these feelings and the desire to call her Mrs Basit for a while now. And now finally he can actually do so.

I think he wants to hear from her how she loves him, misses him, etc. So much for not being a fan of gehrey rishtey, Mr Basit.😆
